This is exactly what I've been looking for! It is so hard to find a clear tutorial for learning braided leather. Thank you for such wonderful, easy to follow instructions!
@Kristie Winget I'm so glad you saying that and I could help you a little. Thank you for the comment and I hope you enjoy crafting! =)

You make it look so easy. Love how you numbered the strands at the beginning of the tutorial! Makes it easy to pause the video as we work. As always awesome video. Thank you!
I made this video for 4 times. But I think it needs more clear instruction. Thank you for saying that! :)
Very nice work. Accessories work are the best.
@Ahmad Issa Thank you ! I will make more of Accessories video for the future! cheers!
This was very helpful. Especially when using the two different colors. Thank you. 😊
I wonder how strong the "butted" end join would be with only glue after a lot of work or a decent "yank" on it. I'd be inclined to use very thin wire to wrap around the butted ends and THEN wrap the "decorative" leather around that. The wire would bite into the leather giving it strength and then the leather covers over for a nice look.
Finally! Someone that knows exactly what I’m talking about. Thank you so much for the instructions.
Im so glad! Thank you for the comment!
Nice touch on this weeks video, super creative. Thanks for the step by step guide! Cant wait to give it a try
Thank you @Michael! I'm so glad you like this! =) Give it a try!

wow, exactly what i was looking for to, finish up a sheath for a hatchet with a hammer on the back and not only that the last part with the loop was awesome cause it could double as a carpenters belt attachement which would work too.

Your finish using super glue is brilliant. I was just thinking of using contact cement to do something similar when I ran across this video. Thanks!

Where do you buy the leather that you use to braid?
Nice,where to get the cord?
Nice, but where do you get that kind of folded cord? Looks much better than with raw edges.
Thanks @Anders, I've searched for you !

I think this is most similar one. Hope it helps!
Thanks so much!
Cheers you sais you would be redoing your pld braid video, thank you clear and informative cheers from Port Elizbeth
Hi!! @Elizbeth, Thanks for the comment!
Where can I buy this leather lace? great video 👍
Quality 👌🏻 is the 190cm length for each cord or split into two?
Kind regards
Andy
Wonderful
Thank you so much
I'm glad you like it! Thank you!
Nice as usual! Is the cord 3mm width or 4mm? Where could I get such excellent colored leather cords? I couldn't find here in Japan.
Thank you Mr.Katayama I think in Japan you can get better material! It's 3mm width in the video. I bought at market in Korea. I found Etsy link. It looks similar but I don't guarantee 😆

Thank you for comment.
Dobra robota
dzięki bracie, jak zawsze!
Great video. What adhesive do you recommend to seal the braid once you have snipped the excess? Thanks!
Thank you for this.
Thank you Hahn. This tutorial is really helpful. I wanted to learn this braid. What mm leather did you use in the video?
Hi Andrea, I'm so glad you like this. I used 3mm width leather cord (wrapped)
www.etsy.com/listing/245364733/flat-cord-3mm012inch-genuine-leather?ref=hp_rv
This link that I was find in Etsy. looks similar of mine.
Thank you for sharing
Thanks!! @Nappily Rooted
Great stuff!!!! Where did you get the clasp? its so hard to find cool looking items..... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you......
thanks for sharing!
Do you also cut off the head and glue it as well?
Thanks Jonathan, I didn't because it can be make stain very easily. I put very tiny little one drop before the last loop. :)
Great tutorial, just a note for new viewers: the strand numbers refer to a different strand for each step. So strand 4 for step #2 is not the same as strand 4 for step #3 and so on. Confused me greatly at first lol
Thanks for the inform!
Was wondering what kind of glue are you using? Thank you in advance
It's a super glue. (instant adhesive)
es piel o es sintetico? en cualquier caso , donde podria comprarlo?
What's the tool you used at 3:50. I just use my bed frame, but the tool would help so much more. Thank you.
Would that super glue hold? I am worried that any heavy item on the braid would snap the glue as I know super glue is very brittle and snaps easily.
Hi Gorgophone Perseidae , I tested it can hold quite many weight. This method used by many makers like Bottega :) Usually for wrist strap hang wallet , small clutch bag or key etc. Unless you hang backpack or heavy things It'll be just fine ;)
Algo simples porém lindo 🇧🇷
Muito obrigado! @Letricia Araújo Rodrigues
thank you very much
Glad it helped!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you @KIRTAP as always!
What kind of leather used in your video? The thickness and width? Thanks a lot
Hi! @Maisie Wang I used 3mm Width leather cord . Thickness is 1.5mm roughly
Excellent work
I'm from Egypt and I want to know the good leather
How can i sell it?
Thank you Mr.Kings ManIt's 3mm width in the video. I bought at market in Korea. I found Etsy link. It looks similar but I don't guarantee 😆
www.etsy.com/listing/245364733/flat-cord-3mm012inch-genuine-leather?ref=hp_rv
Ive noticed the bolo cord i buy has rope of some sort inside. That mean they skipped some steps?
Thanks you ❤

What kind of glue are you using?
Please where can those clasps be purchased, do they have a particular style name ???
Thank bro,
Could you use round leather cord?
Очень клевый ремешок. А что за клей? И где его можно купить в России?
@Ануар Мумбаев Здравствуйте! Мы называем это супер клеем. Я не знаю, как это называется в России. Но я уверен, что ты знаешь :Loctite www.target.com/p/loctite-super-glue-5-g/-/A-12213830
May I know where do you get the Flat Leather Cord from? I couldn't find it anywhere...
I found Etsy link. It looks similar but I don't guarantee 😆
www.etsy.com/listing/245364733/flat-cord-3mm012inch-genuine-leather?ref=hp_rv
@@HahnsAtelier Thank you for your link. Is there any way that we can make this by ourselves?
@@yajiepan2973 Sure you can by your self :)
HAHNS ATELIER, Thankyou for this link. As far as I can see, the leather is folded over so is ‘double sided’ and has a nice finished edge rather than the harsh edge which you get with so many leather laces.
Where did you buy your leather cord from?
I found Etsy link. Hope it helps!

@@HahnsAtelier Thank you!
Hahns, could you give some guidance on the length of leather strands you would need to purchase to make a metre of final braided? Basically what is the ratio? Is it roughly 1 Metre (x4) to make 300 mm braided?
Super
@Людмила Воробьева Thanks a lot!
