How often do you use supplements like calcium for your tree skinks? And what insects do they like the most? And also great video as always. Seeing your mini zoo is so fascinating
Thank you very much! I’ll use calcium and a multivitamin every other feeding. They eat usually whatever I give them but I’d say their favorite is definitely wax worms! I give them those as a treat and they all go nuts for them 😄
I have been trying to find the emerald green tree skink for a while but I keep finding the solomon island black tree skink do you know anything about them
I know there’s some similarities in diet, temperatures, humidity and natural range with both skinks. They’re also both arboreal but will spend time on the ground to burrow. I’ve also heard they tend to hide more. The black tree skinks are usually always wild caught and the odds are the shop that’s selling them isn’t actually going to give the right care info because there’s little out there. They’re an amazing looking jet black but I’d tend to stay away from them just because of what I just said!
It’s so cool watching them eat
I love those skinks!
I do too, they’re awesome!
love it! Emerald tree skinks on my bucket list

I bought emerald tree skink about 3 days ago. How much cricket for juvenile per feeding session?
