Despite being a foreigner, you're exploring the length and breadth of each places here in India that makes me so shy.. just because we tend to go abroad to spend our holidays and whenever we get a chance without understanding our own country and states.! Place which is a blend of palaces water shopping and simplicity. Heat is not so much as rest of Rajasthan even in summer. Nice video. How you two manage making videos together. Fro two different channels. When we see your video we see the other one doing nothing and vice Versa.
Went there for my anniversary with zero expectation and udaipur just surprised me with its vibrancy and royalty.. amazing place to be .. particularly in the old city near City palace
You guys absolutely need to come back. If you love nature plan a north east india trip. All 7 sister states in north east. You ll be pleasantly shocked to see the diversity of culture and food and people.
Just for your information, the orange magnet which you bought is the Indian god Ganesha. He ia considered as the remover of obstacles and he is prayed to before any new work or venture is started so that all things go well.
This vlog is literally imperfectly perfect, though you guys are not able to find the right food outlets, you went to worst food places, but your shopping side is good.
I had visited Rajasthan for 2 weeks with all the major district administrative cities covered, including ofcourse the state capital city Jaipur. Udaipur @ 'Lake City' is a lovely city & we were 'freezing' while having dinner by the famous Pichula Lake. Love from Msia.
usually if any seller calls you "my friend" in India, its a red flag :)) they do this to Indian tourists too but their main focus is foreign tourists. They would always sell you at a much higher price. Although there are exceptions. As always, A fun vlog from Susan. :D oh and I Hope your pain subdues soon. Always buy the food like samosa, pakora, vada paav etc from the sellers who are cooking it in front of you. and make sure a lot of locals are buying there as well. If it's kept on display and if it's not piping hot, it generally causes trouble.
There is only one small tyre in the front it's no joke whenever any driver drives crazy immediately stop him and tell him to drive slow and safe plz. I met with an accident in the past very brutal 🙏

Hi Susan. Very nice videos. And since you like juice so much you should try sugarcane juice as well. It's there only in summers and is very refreshing. Also, India has many stunning temples with exceptional architecture and art. Do try to visit the famous ones in the city you are in. You will love them. Enjoy your trip. Also do try the street foods from good and famous places and definitely try pani puri. You won't ever taste these things anywhere else. And each city or state has their own speciality of cuisines.
While roaming in Rajasthan, you should hire guide as each place has history associated with it. The guide will explain u about the importance of the place, its history and unique things. In absence of a guide u will only see a place without understanding its significance

Next time you visit Udaipur! It's best a rent a bike/scooter because it's very cheap and you don't have to take tuk tuk again again. In Udaipur it costs only 400Rs per day. With it you can go anywhere you want.

Samosa seller lady had asked you people if you want a normal samosa or vegetable samosa and you had opted for vegetable samosa that's why your samosa was different. Traditional/ normal samosa are made with potato filling but now people have started making different types of samosas with different fillings. But for me best is always the normal samosa, rest is not worth it. The other thing lady was suggesting was that samosa goes great with tea/ chai, usually in India people really like Samosa with Chai as a combination, it goes really well. But you could not understand her. You guys face a lot of language barrier in India, that's the issue. I hope you know about the "Conversation" option in Google translate, in which you can select two languages one of your own and second of the other person and ask someone to speak on to your phone while using that option and it converts it into a text of your language and it even speaks out the text. Then you can speak onto it and it converts your spoken words into text of their language and reads them out also, they can chose to read the text if they want. You may want to use it at places where you really don't understand anyone, better than misunderstanding. It was a life saver to me when I travelled to Russia, there hardly anyone understand English.
If you have international driving license, Try and arrange self drive cars on rent for transport within state. Rent a new car everytime you go to a new state. Makes transport much more easier. Long distance road travel is much more fun in india. You can also rent a two wheeler/motorbike/scooty for travels within city...you have control over your time that way.

Also while buying it, make sure its prepared in front of you and should hot n fresh plus other local people also buying from it, otherwise it can make your stomach upset. And lastly important thing to share, whenever you go at some place to visit, make sure you go toilet once, just before leaving your hotel room. And still if you need it in the middle of the visit and unable to find public toilet, you can use toilets of nearby restaurants. also I would like to share some points
like the lady from which you bought the samosa was saying that, that thing is most oftenly eaten along with the tea, same thing for samosa also, it also eaten along with the tea most often,
Secondly, Samosas mostly come with potato filling but you can get samosa with some other fillings too like noodles filling in it at some some places. Also while buying it, make sure its prepared in front of you and should hot n fresh plus other local people also buying from it, otherwise it can make your stomach upset.
And lastly important thing to share, whenever you go at some place to visit, make sure you go toilet once, just before leaving your hotel room. And still if you need it in the middle of the visit and unable to find public toilet, you can use toilets of nearby restaurants.

about the snacks its not a tea snack.. she said (chai ke saath) means you can have it with tea.. not a tea snack .. and jordan gave you the wrong information .. they dont put tea on it. 😅😅
