I went to Yellowstone for the first time over summer break this year (I'm a junior in high school now). I still can't find the words to describe how much I miss it and want to go back, and it's only been 8 weeks! 😭😭😭 Thank you for creating this amazing video; even though I can't watch it back in full 8K, it's stunningly beautiful anyways at 4k. I've watched it 5 times already. I only just found it a few days ago, and it has taken my breath away every time.
You know, they bought them back to Yellowstone. Where they are thriving, once again (thankfully). Not so long ago, they weren't hunted out to the point of, extinction. Instead (of the narrative, that people are taught), certain people, pushed them off of cliffs and, did a whole manner of unbelievably cruel, disgusting things, to this giant of mother nature, on which entire ecological systems, are dependent.
You know, unless you have your monitors color profile setup 100% correctly, HDR can in fact, make your video look worse? Graeme Gill, offers a desktop app, which I use on Linux/BSD, developed by Florian Höch in Stuttgart, called DisplayCAL (formerly known as dispcalGUI), which is available under the GNU Public Licence 3.0 (source code available). It's available for free, runs on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, (minimum Windows 7, True color display, capable of 24 bits per pixel or higher graphics output preferred, but not essential) as compiled binaries. DisplayCAL is written in Python and uses 3rd-party packages*. He is also the maker of the Argyll Color Management System or ArgyllCMS (Android mobile app), that lets you use all your USB connected color measurement instruments, and save as profiles, for use later. If you need to measure & record light, or color in Printing, Photography, Lighting, Graphic Design, TV, Film or Video, you can always, just take a look at the ArgyllPRO website, for more information. nb*- External libraries include; NumPy, wxPython (GUI toolkit), Certifi, PyGObject or dbus-python for Linux (required for Wayland support with colord), as well as Python extensions for Windows, comtypes and the Python WMI module to provide Windows-specific functionality. Other minor dependencies include faulthandler, psutil, PyChromecast and pyglet (macOS/Windows) or libSDL2 (Linux).
I did a research project in Yellowstone. This took me back there... excellent work! I use your videos as reference for UHD TV's. Wish they were longer! Sublime.
Wonderful work, I always look forward to seeing your next video as you have some of the best quality content available here! You're a true source of inspiration! Ciao from Italy!
Watching this in 4320p60 on my 1991 i486 pc with 56k dial up modem and using a 1968 Panasonic console tv as my monitor and it looks BEAUTIFUL and runs smooth! Thanks for the upload!
Holy fucking shit, i'm sorry about my language but this is incredible to watch on a 4k display, I jumped from using 1080p for the last decade to 4k today and i'm loving it.
I think, your language in this case, is well justified in it's usage. Words well chosen, as there's really, very little other way to describe it (succinctly).
Amazing, unbelievable, awesome, marvelous, magnificent, fascinating, enormous, tremendous, grave beauty of nature in this video. Thank you for such amazing aesthetics.
Jacob and Katie, you both have done a superb job in presenting your video's. The Bulgarian video was originally sent to us via email. We lived in Bulgaria and was such a wonderful remembrance of a loved country. Thank YOU
The most beautiful video on TH-cam. Can watch it over and over again. You guys are exceptional. Wish I had found your channel earlier. Thank you for the wonderful content!
I've been waiting 3 years for you to make a video of nature in ultra HD with 60 FPS, since YT allowed users to upload videos with such an FPS. The wait was totally worth it.
Watching this in 4k on Samsung 65mu8000, absolutely wonderful.. this guy definitely knows how to take amazing shots. Love all ur videos mate. Keep it up.❤❤❤
We have come a long way. I remember 10 years ago, when you had to stress your CPU just to view a 1080p TH-cam-Video, because Hardware-Acceleration weren´t there or just in its infancy. Now at this amazing 8k60fps resolution my GTX1060 is at 80% utilisation and my Ryzen 7 sleeps at 2%. This I call progress. By the way, thank you very much for this future-like high-quality video. Looks amazing on my 4k screen.
Stunning detail of a wonderful location. I had to watch it in about 5 sessions due to my slow broadband as I had it set to UHD and I have a 4K monitor!
wow... how in the world did you take all these videos without any cars or people in it? I was there June, 2018 and it was crowded beyond belief... even back in October, 2017 there should have been a lot of people around. Anyway... well done... thank you for sharing your adventure.

This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen on TH-cam. Especially in higher resolutions (4K and 8K) it looks so good it's like real life.
Beautiful park and good quality shots. In Poland, we have brought back Bison bonasus, a beautiful animal.

Im glad, cause my monitor supports HDR so i can enjoy watching this masterpiece!

Yeah, right? My new laptop can reproduce 4K with 60fps, and a little of 8K with 60fps (with some lag), but normal 8K is normal in this.
