I remember bowling with him and once against him in a couple of scratch tournaments in Atlanta. He is one heck of a bowler and a great guy! I will second that
On the topic of "masterpiece performance" the LOSER of the final game arguably actually did BETTER than the winner. He got one more strike if you look at the scoreboard carefully and an equal number of nine spares but lost due to the weirdness of bowling where how the shots are positioned on the score board affects how they "add together". I think the WORLD SCORING system is more fair.
PbaBowling, That was an awesome upload of the Stepladder Finals of the Johnny Petraglia Championship. Also, The 1st, and Title Matches of the Johnny Petraglia Championship had amazing and very close finishes.
Did I see that final game right? The player with more strikes loses? 9 strikes loses to 8 strikes? Even though he got 9 spares for every shot that was not a strike? In world scoring he would have won.
@@georgemolnar7344 There is another option that I only saw happen once called "World Scoring" where all strikes score 30 and all spares are original shot plus 10. It feels more fair to me. Both bowlers got 3 nine spares but one of them got one more strike and lost ONLY because he did not get as many "in a row". Each individual shot takes the same amount of skill. The loser of that game based on what I saw was NOT the inferior bowler. Do you think world scoring is a better idea? Had that game been scored that way the other guy would have won.
Huge shout out to Mark Clark! A life long dream to see a friend from the neighborhood make the show. Mark congrats!!

Mark Clark and Dennis so happy to see them make the finals. 2 good guys
I still have my first ball from 1979 - a Johnny Petraglia LT-48!
JJ is a machine, there is no doubt. Well done JJ
3rd is a good position to be in. There is a chance to read the lane more before the finals if one gets there.
This is another masterpiece performance. Congratulations!

Johnny on the spot! 🎳
He's a machine
10:15 W Dave 😁
It is such a crime to miss a single pin pickup that on our team you have to add money to the strike poker pot if you do it!
What are run by Mika making the show every week
I find it amusing that we get meaningless cumulative scoring totals on each lane.

Bowling is likely the only sport with cumulative scoring. I can have 2 strikes and beat you even if you had 6 strikes.

Jon Janawicz likes bowling from the 3rd seeded position on the Pba50 Tour.
How do you know what John likes?
