I spent a few days with Bonnie staying at my family beach hut at Hengistbury Head/Mudeford Beach. It was sooo relaxing and good for the soul. Waking up on the beach, the sand between my toes, getting back on a paddleboard and reading a good book again was just the dream. So grateful I had the chance to do my first staycation of the year. We had a lovely time and vlogged the whole trip! It was also the 1 year anniversary since we picked up Bonnie, so it was a great way to celebrate her gotcha day. Can't wait to sleep at the beach again soon. Enjoy, B xx

Yes! There is a public bathroom block behind (about 8 huts to the left), and we also have a key for separate showers and a loo xx

Yipee!! Which scents did you go for? There are shared public facilities just behind, they are cleaned several times a day and we also have a key to a private loo and showers. They’re really nice! Xx

That beach house is incredible. The number of people you can have in there is incredible. Do they have shower and toilet blocks .

Maybe next time you do a solo trip pack everything into a suitcase , you only have one thing to pull along than carry x

😂 Brogan, you should have used your wheelie suitcase for all your stuff and put the backpack on top.
That was my initial idea but you can't really use a suitcase because the sand is quite thick at one part of the walk, don't want sand in the wheels, so I need a trolley with BIG wheels basically haha!

What a fantastic staycation vlog! So idyllic, so relaxing, eating pizza in the sun - perfect! What a fabulous place to be able to visit, glad you had a great time! x
You should've put everything in a suitcase! Then you could've wheeled it along and if the ground was rough or anything then you could carry it like you are doing now with the bags you have. I can't believe how far you have to walk to get to the hut rather than being able to drive closer!! So pretty though :)
Hahah I didn't show it but there is a part where the sand is quite thick! So a suitcase isn't ideal. Plus, it would get sand in the wheels. I need to get a BIG trolly that people push/pull alone! There is a little ferry if you want quicker access but I like the privacy of how it's a bit further away :) xx
Brogan at the moment Aldi ( if you have one near you) are doing Cooling Mat all different sizes to keep Bonnie cool in the heat . Such a great sunny Vlog . 👍☀️🐶

Wow that beach hat is amazing! It’s so cozy and relaxed! I’m also always jealous when I can see people go to the beach with their dogs here in the US they have lots of laws and dogs are banned from most beaches which totally stinks 😕 so cool to see you and your pup having fun at the beach!
I also love the little beach hut‘s that’s so neat but everybody gets their own little space hear you either have big money for a big beach house or you don’t get to live near the beach usually it’s really great that your family has that place they can get away to. So pretty!

This maybe a really stupid question but where do you shower & go to the toilet? Do you have separate facilities to those who are just using the beach for the day? I’m really not sure how it works 😂 it looks so beautiful though! 😍
There are several public toilet blocks, our closest is only 2 min walk away. We have a key for a private loo and showers for hut owners xx

Love Hengistbury Head (& not jealous at all!) My aunt had a flat in Christchurch & whenever we stayed with her, a visit there was always a must-do. Great sausage sandwiches from the cafe. Such good memories ; thank you

Loved watching this vlog! Hengistbury head is amazing. Did you also know it’s a special site of scientific interest, because of the biodiversity there, as well as having archaeological interest too!

We’re off back to Dorset next week for a staycation, this time staying in Corfe Castle but really hoping to be able to visit Christchurch again and hopefully over there on the ferry as it’s just the most magical place!
