As usual, as Kintaro approached Momotaro, Momotarou suddenly grabbed Kintaro a little harder.
So Genki protested Momotaro and protected Kintaro.
But Kintaro didn't seem to be afraid of Momotaro after that.

⭐️モモタロウ Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
momotaro was born at Ueno zoo in Tokyo on jul.3,2000 and came to our zoo on Oct.18,2010.
He is beautiful and handsome ,the silverback of our troop.
He is a little timid,and scared of new things.
He sometimes shows lovely behaviors that melt our hearts.
He is making efforts to be a good dad for his two sons.
⭐️ゲンキ Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Genki was born at our zoo on Jun,24,1986.
After mating with several males without a pregnancy she found her perfect partner Momotaro.
Now she is a loving and caring mom for her two sons.
She sometimes behaves boldly,yet she can also be sensitive.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️ゲンタロウ Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at our zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
Everyone immediately agrees that he is a very adorable boy.
⭐️キンタロウ Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at our zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.
He love to play by himself,with his father.
He is still small, but smart and strong-willed.
His cute appearance and behavior attract everyone's interest.

I don't think that Momo wanted to hurt Kintaro. He just wanted to stop him to jump from so high without supervision. They both love their children, they just have a different way to show it. I love that family!

My heart breaks for Momo. He wasn't trying to hurt him! You could see his feelings were hurt. But Genki doing her job well! She knows what is too much for Kinny to handle.
He grabbed him kind-of rough though. She is great mom!
Na that did look rougher than usual. Wonder if he meant that and if so what triggered it. Looked like kintaro was going towards his mom
@@smokkey1370 Momotaro gets aggressive if their's food around. Maybe their was something he didn't want Kintaro to eat before he did. Just a guess. That's the roughest I've ever seen Momotaro act towards his son. Not typical behavior of him towards Kintaro. I think Genki's scolding made it worse than what it was and she also scared Kintaro. But like they say, you never mess with a mother's children. Human mother's, mother's in the animal kingdom will go to great lengths to protect their offspring
Momotaro was a little rough. But he does not want to hurt Kintaro. I think sometimes he just does not recognize his own strength. 🦍💪

Awww Momotaro wasn’t trying to hurt his son especially back then. He was just trying to play with him and just like Gentaro back in those days he wasn’t quite sure how much force or strength he should have been using with Kintaro which they both learned to adjust and Kintaro stopped being scared of his dad as much.
Thinking maybe Mom was getting ready to smack Gentaro as he tried to pull her branch out of her hand. Then he was just happy eating some of her leaves. 😅😂🤣😳🤭❤️🦍🦍🦍🦍❤️🌎

Love watching these beautiful animals but this enclosure looks way too small for this big animals... sometimes I see sadness in their eyes... I know they are well taken care of and very much loved...just wish they had a bigger place to live... thank yall for caring for them...

Genki sempre vigilante e atuante, em vários momentos observamos que ela tem uma linguagem ,emite sons de fala e uns gestos com a mão, e os filhotes e Momotaro a compreendem, aí está a prova. Momotaro ama o bebê Kintaro e parece entender que o filhote também é dele e o protege muitas vezes do irmão, mas parece não ter noção de sua própria força e dessa vez exagerou na pegada do bebê , mamãe Genki que parece sempre estar distraída intervém rápida enérgica , Kintaro corre para ela pois entende o chamado e Momotaro fica parado como quem não está acreditando que foi repreendido e vai embora. Genki ficou muito braba e Kintaro não entende bem o que aconteceu, não ficou com medo do pai e volta a brincar com ele, mas Momotaro se afasta assim que Genki se aproxima. Genki no passado qdo Kintaro era pequeno liberou o bebê pra brincar com Gentaro, mas com Momotaro não, Gentaro brinca com o irmão e toma um galho da mãe para comer, parece testar se ela está brava com ele também. Genki uma mãe fofa, carinhosa e brava que enfrenta até o Silverback tão grande pra proteger seu bebê Kintaro quando é preciso, afinal o bebê não percebe o perigo só quer brincar. Eu Amo Genki , essa mãe poderosa!
Tb adoro essa família! Genki é a representação da mãe zelosa, Momotaro é impressionantemente lindo e imponente, mas respeita o poder da boa mãe q a Genki é.. enfim acho q se completam!!💝

These gorillas need a much larger enclosure. Tempers flare bcuz they are cooped up in too small of a space.
I love Genki. But Mo needs another mate. He has no idea of the type that mates can enjoy each other, play with each other. Etc. I feel so sorry for him, and her sometimes. They say you can’t miss what you never had, but He really got cheated. He did his job, made the babies now let the big guy have some fun. At the same time, that may prove a problem with the G-man, from a competitive point of view. I may be looking at this from a human point of view. But some of the other Students were Silverback is have several mates and offsprings, why not Mo?

I get upset seeing their enclosure, and to see a silverback hang upside down at the roof to reach food.. dreadful. There is nothing natural about any of it.. But it's all about the humans needs. We have a lovely zoo thats all about the animals and providing a natural habitat.
