A Cenar Teco from Don Giovanni is more dramatic but I love this one for its meaning. I can't understand why so many people prefer O Isis Und Osiris which is boring. If you don not know it, "Strait Opening Her Fertile Womb" has a great recitative for a bass and a decent aria from a rarely performed Haydn opera.

Understandable, all roles here in Petr Weigl's film are played by actors and dubbed by singers. Gremin is played by Premisl Koči and sung by Ghiaurov. Looks strange: the great voice of a well-known singer out of the mouth of an unknown actor.
