Planning to upgrade my 2010 3.0 fortuner with the borla xr1 (full exhaust) but second guessing since I won’t be remapping the car anytime soon. You said though that remapping is recommended but not needed. Just curious, what are the effects of upgrading to your full exh 3” without remapping? Will there be gains or power loss? Thanks.

Hi, watching from South Africa, home of the UniChip 😃. Have you ever added a UniChip to a very basic standalone ECU? The guys at Dastek (UniChip Manufacturers) have done this with a Dicktator ECU which is a very basic batch firing standalone ECU. First time I've heard of adding a piggy back ECU to an aftermarket one.
