To answer your question, every match kayn has to attack chsmpions to gain his passive stacks to fill a bar to get either Rhaast(melee champs) or Shadow assassin(ramge champs). After transforming he stays that way till the very end so you as base kayn have to decide which form benefits your team the best(Rhaast is better against bruiser melee oriented comps and Shadow assassin is better at bursting squishy champs down). First off thank you for checking those voicelines out! I know it's a lot to take in and it drags on after a while. After all, those were meant to be heard in game over multiple games in different scenarios, facing different champions, etc! I hope the format and editing made it more enjoyable for everyone! 🙂 The best part for most is def when they interact with each other. During the event there was an Odyssey Kayn announcer and they made special lines with both interacting to announce game events. It's only 5 minutes so you can watch/react to it while you're at it if you want! 😅 Someone already answered your question, but yes, once you get your form as Kayn, it's permanent for the rest of the game. Typically, you are base form Kayn for 10-16 minutes, then you transform for the remaining 15-30 minutes until the game ends! Kayn one trick checking in again: The 2 forms each have a different skin line they follow. Rhaast belongs to the Dark Star skin line, and Shadow Assassin is the Cosmic Emperor from the Cosmic skin line
There's a few duos in League indeed, on top of my head; Kindred and wolf, Kled and Skaarl, Kayn & Rhaast, Kayle & Morgana, Nunu & Willump, Aphelios and Alune, Quinn & Valor?, Varus counts as 3 idk with his new voicelines if they'll feature the 2 ionian men.
Honestly I do agree blue kayn power trip is very boring from a lines point of view, lore wise very cool. A dark star are galaxy power beings, Him suddenly getting that power after beating one. Breaking him mentally and making him frantic is an amazing detail.
