- In September 2008 Winga hooks up with Chris Cleaver and goes in search of mighty silver mulloway in the rivers of Sydney. They use only squidgy lures and have a great day catching numerous quality fish in the pouring rain.

So impressed that you can get a fish like that from Cooks River - taught me a thing or two, even more impressed that you catch and release as I do. Too many people, taking anything and everything. Loved the video.

That's right next to Tempe Station, unbelievable. I'm a local. Is it better off the boat or is it still possible to catch from the park on the right side of where you guys were filming?
Mate why the heck do you guys not have a slot on the Channel 183 Austar or any other channel for that matter. Brilliant video and brilliant way to teach people the meaning of patience. Do you only have the show or do you offer charters in the Sydney harbour. i come down often but have no idea where i can even start looking for charters in the harbour. Thanks. enjoyable video.

In WA they are normally called Mulloway in the South, up north we get a nearly identical fish and it is called a Black Jewfish. The Dhu Fish which is caught in W.A is very much like a Pearl Pearch on the East Coast.

that last spot is cooks river tempe have caught plenty of small jews there but nothing of good size. goodwork boys
i caught a jewfish there at the exact spot early this year using a 3" gulp
I love Jew fish, I caught lots of them down Wiseman's ferry an year ago, but cant get them no more, I use Pilchards and squid for them, and I'm really getting disappointed these days for catching nothing (except lots of cat fish)
, after so many cold night outs to get them on the line, any good land based fishing tips guys that im missing out.
Or maybe I can tag along with you professionals to get some real time experience. Please...

i caught a 25 or 26 cm bream in a clean creek in the shade
I got spiked by a flathead. Rubbing where I got spiked on the fishes belly did nothing instead I put my hand in very hot water and the pain disappeared.

Redfish, mulloway, Jewfish, White sea bass are all from the same family. Fun fact.
we shoot massive ones where im from in the white wash breaking over the rocks

they weren't using blades they were using squidgy soft plastics in 100mm silverfox fish

Anyting above 8 kg is dry meet best to release and let it grow bigger that way fun gos a long way for years to come lol this Jewish go as far as Liverpool v behind train station they have been caught buy non experience Fisher men on Brad and Chekan and very old small shirimp bigest 4 kg eye vitnes and have pictures lol

sinbad c fish tide turns put in hours can get soapies almost anywhere in parra river with fresh squid strips just put time in and fish tides

He also goes fishing more then anyone i have ever seen and catches more fish then most can dream of. So telling him how to catch a fish on tackle he has helped to develop is as retarded as your comment. beat it loser
jonathanbigg7 Hi bud with catch and release you want the fish at your feet as fast as possible so as to release it in as fresh strong condition as possible, hope this helps man and tight lines to you :)
