The tip of using tape for the old resin chip is super helpful. Have you tried squirting some water with a dash of dish soap in it under the edge as you pull it away while demolding? I find that makes it way easier.
When I saw the glitter in the jar, I thought it was going to be opaque. I like how the transparency depends on the angle of the light. I think that means you can still put objects in it.
Thank you 😊 & I had to say it 😅 everything is getting ridiculous these days. Prices are going up and up on everything. I just went to the grocery store and didn't get much and it was almost 200 🥶
So glad this was helpful 😊 resin is so fun. You can do a lot of cool things with it. I'm happy to help if you ever have any questions on things. I don't see comments on here quickly but on Facebook I'm @Art By Tish and you can message me there anytime. I see FB messages right away.
I love, love, LOVE these!! They actually look like they are see through! What beautiful colors! The teal is starting to nudge my favorite pink out of first place!😳😆 You just make the most beautiful creations with the best colors for that creation that I don't think I'm going to have a favorite ONE color anymore!😂😂
Awe thank you 💙💟🤗 I know what you mean. They're both super pretty. I love how they're see through too. The blue one up close looks like a pretty pool from the top of the head 😍💙
@@naptimecreations Oh yeah, I can understand that. So, where do you live? 😂😂😂 I'm only kidding! I know you know my humor, I just don't want other people to think I'm a crazed stalker fan! 😂😂😂
Hi Tish wow that glitter powder from @letsresin is so wow 😍 can't wait till its available in the UK, are the colours more vibrant with a black paste? Thanks for sharing ❤️ xx
Yes, you can but it shouldn't be poured over 1/4 inch deep per pour. I just checked their website to see how deep it can be poured. so make sure your layers are not deeper than 1/4 inch per layer.
Love Let's Resin!! Thank you for the discount code as I just broke my "no spending January" that put on myself to get the glitter! 🤣🤣 I have this same skull mold, per your recommendation. I was wondering if you've found a good substitute to take up space in large molds like this so we use less resin? For example, a tinfoil ball for an opaque skeleton head. Would that work or do you suggest something else? I'm curious if you've tried anything. Thx!
Awe thank you so much for using my code. I appreciate you 🥰💗 I have found that stones or fireglass are a great way to take up space so you use less resin. I havent tried a tin foil ball. That's a good idea too. But it might leak out a lot if air bubbles. Iridescent cellophane will work too and it's super pretty in resin. I made some resin crystal towers in this video using Iridescent cellophane if you want to check it out. th-cam.com/video/I_6YVO5jcPo/w-d-xo.html

Those look amazing! I finally got some resin and will be able to finally use this mold that I won! How much in total does it take to fill one of those molds? I can't wait to make one!
@@naptimecreations My skull mold must be a little smaller than yours. It only took two layers of 4 ozs. I think it looks pretty good for my first one. Where can I post a photo of it?
Yes. I wait 24 hours between layers. This technique doesn't show the sections because there is glitter dusted all over the mold. The glitter keeps the lines hidden

If you don’t have a heat gun, is there another method you can use to pop the inside bubbles?
A few sprays of 91% or 99% isopropyl alcohol from a fine mist spray bottle will pop surface bubbles. Don't spray too much.
