When I was younger I remember loving a movie named Flåklypa Grand Prix, which is a Norwegian stop motion film. It basically follows a Norwegian bike repairer and his adventure of building his own race car and competing in an annual local grand prix.
As a NASCAR fan the first clip upsets and confuses me. No car would ever flip like that explode like that or kill people in the stands like that. They’re race cars not dynamite strapped to an engine.

However, please go to YT and look at vids; one actual race (might be LeMans in 50's) killed over 50 fans (spectators) ; another F1 vid shows huge fire in pit lane during refueling (real; they used to refuel during race in F1) and uh, every watch recent vid of Nicki Laude's inferno or Romain Grosjean's fire and crash ?????

Also notice all of the incidents you listed were from racing series other than NASCAR. Modern NASCAR is the safest racing series in the world by a wide margine. Also I was watching when Grosjean crashed at Bahrain and I know about the 55 Le Mans incident I’m not new to Motorsport.
@@samuelmcneill1120 "By a wide margin" is stretching it quite a bit. If you're judging it by the car's structural integrity (ignoring other factors such as race speed, track safety, etc), I'd say Indycar, F1 and GT series cars are comparable, if not a bit better in some situations.

My favourite movie has to be Rush, not because my idol is Lauda but because of how they had everything done, they learned how to actually properly powerslide the cars in real life and then implemented so much realism into it. There needs to be movies made about Group B rally, Isle Of Man TT etc all in the same style as Rush. What a great film

I'm really glad the Need for Speed movie ended up becoming a cult classic. I absolutely loved it when it first came out and was really disappointed that not many others shared my view.
I totally agree! I adore that film so much but I was hoping they would show the mustang car chase parts instead of the final race because I think the car chases are better

Lupin the Third has a race episode including 3 famous F1 drivers including a world champion back in the 70's and there is reference of the 1966 Grand Prix movie there its very interesting
If it's allowed, then Marbula 1 (marble racing on circuits with multiple laps like F1), by Jelles Marble Runs on TH-cam, is fun to watch, although the whole races are long (S1 races would be best, maybe Hivedrive or Momotorway or Savage Speedway, as they're shorter than S2 and still just as good). Not sure it counts considering there aren't any cars racing, but if it does then it would be fun to see them watch
as someone that watches primarily stock car racing im trying to grasp why a crew member would put a screw driver thing in the fuel overflow in the final destination clip.
Remember watching nfs with my 7 year old nephew he asked " Why is a mustang costing $1M?" I said because it was tuned by Carol Shelby" he looks at me all confused and says " Bloody Americans paying all that for a mustang just because some guy fitted the radio!" 🤣🤣🤣

How in the world have you not reacted to "SPEED RACER" (Both the 1967 anime and the 2008 film), "THE LOVE BUG" (1969), The anime film "REDLINE" and the original "DEATH RACE 2000"? (Not to mention "LE MANS").
If you guys don't mind, may i suggest try anime? Initial D and Wangan Midnight may not be the most realistic, but its way more realistic than most movies you've chosen since. Besides, a real life professional racer acted as a supervisor for Initial D
It's not a film (well it is cuz they did a remake of it into a film in like 2007) but it's an old 60's anime: Speed Racer you'll enjoy for all the wrong reasons.
That Final Destination scene is just horrible. How tf does a popped tire cause a heavy stock car to lift? And what cars explode by hitting another? It genuinely isn't scary or interesting. It's gore for the gore with no internal logic whatsoever Edit: Spelling
