Anybody remember that movie the Shadow? Where Alec played a knockoff Batman? That movie ruled. All the scenes of him slinking away like he shat himself and has to make sure nobody notices, they're the best.
I heard that Bay gets the kinds of performances he does out of these actors by just exuding what I can only describe as "personal trainer" energy. If you go to a gym enough times, either like a YMCA or Planet Fitness, or you had a weight room in high school gym class, you know what I mean. Very positive, very motivating, someone who's fun to be around.
Actually, it's more of an evil genius thing he's going for. Bay is an unrepentant dick on set and he is purposefully abrasive to everyone in the hope that every department complains about him instead of each other. But if you prefer the scenario in your head, well, it certainly is happier than the reality. He does come off as really nice, fun, and energetic in interviews, to be fair.

Literally never heard anyone who has said anything about giving everyone money so we can stop COVID saying that giving Trump voters money is a problem with giving everyone money. They tend to be in favor of giving everyone money.
