I'm 62, so I was just a child when RFK was shot and I barely remember seeing a photo in the newspaper of him lying on the floor. I had no idea what we'd lost. Decades later, when I'd see documentaries about him, I often weep because now I know. I ALWAYS weep when I see the scenes of his funeral train traveling through cities, small towns, & countrysides with ALL kinds of people standing along the tracks, some waving American flags, some saluting, - veterans, boy scouts, poor rural white families & children, black people, Catholic nuns, etc.,- such a cross-section of America united in grief & waiting along the tracks to pay their last respects to RFK. Just knowing he was loved and respected by people from so many different backgrounds & experiences & situations was beautiful. God, I'm starting to cry just writing about it. I feel this huge sense of loss.

Just wanted to add that I'm supporting RFK Jr. for President in 2024. I don't agree with his EVERY position, but that's never going to happen with any candidate and I am so tired of voting for the lesser of 2 evils. I want to vote FOR someone, not against someone. I like that he is a thoughtful man who is both committed to his principles but is not an ideologue, which is almost non-existent in American politics today. I also am dismayed at the ongoing & escalating hate, tribalism, & polarization between the Left & the Right, or between Republicans & Democrats. I don't want authoritarianism from the Left any more than I want it from the Right! I like that RFK, Jr. appeals to people from all across the political spectrum. That alone is amazing in a world where Americans have now had decades of propaganda telling them to hate each other and it's only getting worse as we have different "news" sources that tell us what we want to hear to reinforce our beliefs. "Fake news" from the Left & "alternative facts" (as if there is such a thing!) from the Right are amplified & confirmed by social media algorithms. Both sides think the other side is either stupid, insane, or evil, or all 3,- because they think they are getting the same news & information and are making decisions based on that shared information. We DON'T have shared information anymore, and I have seen news outlets from both the Left & the Right that are misleading, that mock political opponents (childish behavior), or that lapse into outright propaganda & tell lies about their opponents. We no longer have a shared reality. I can't tell you how dangerous this is. Of course, RFK, Jr. has been treated horribly by the legacy media & by establishment Democrats, and I've seen so many lies told about him, using soundbites to misrepresent his policies, which he can only address in long-form interviews like the ones here on YT. (The interview by Dr. Phil is probably the best at clarifying his positions so I suggest you watch that & share it with others who have never heard Mr. Kennedy speak for himself.)

      I hope I'm wrong....he may be 100000% innocent. I shouldn't post this 😮

In gunning down this father of 11 the assination, robbed 11 children of their father and shot down the democratically determined will of a nation and the people's vote for a president elect of their choice. A Presidency that was halted and stopped short, at the moment of it's very beginning. Truly tragic. May his soul RIP.🙏✨️

When RFK arrived in LA he briefly sat in a convertible as he rode to the Ambassador Hotel. I was 16 yrs old. My friends and I cut class to be there. I pushed thru the crowd and reached up and shook RFK’s hand !! I shall never forget that moment. That night he was murdered and America was robbed of an Amazing Future President instead of the dushbag Nixon we endured from 1969-74😊

Like so much of what came out of the 1960s the image of the Kennedys is a perfect example of misplaced nostalgia. A magnificently produced piece of insidious propaganda that contributed to the nightmare we are experiencing today.
As a 16 year old volunteer on RFKs Presidential campaign, I learned more about the realities.... and the hypocrisy.... of the political system in general and the Kennedy image in particular than many of my peers would aquire even with masters or doctoral degrees.
Few things will assure the success of symbolism over substance better than the martyrdom of an individual.
For those who cannot..or are unwilling.. to tear themselves away from fantasy, I suggest they consider the following:
Those who will not use the brains and skills they have are no better off than those who have none. They are by their own choice subject to the will and control of those who would be their masters.
I consider myself fortunate that at a very young age I encountered and was able to accept the cold, hard truth and realities that escape so many people today. There is little... if any.. real difference between Democrat and Republican ... Conservative and Liberal... Left and Right . They all have a common goal... Total Control of a growing G.D.P. GENERALLY DUMB PUBLIC.

Its true that JFK was the politician, but RFK had something rare that most politicians give lip service to, he could see the people, take the pulse of the people, most important he would listen to the people, doing this he saw that he was also just a person, one that makes mistakes, but he could admit his faults but also saw his strengths, he changed himself from the things he learned. RFK did this by going out and talking to the people and became stronger, his power came from the people, and the power he recieved he turned around and impowered the people. We live in a democracy. Government of the people, by the people, for the people. They say that we lost our way, our innocence, that horrible day in November 1963. I believe that we lost our hope and faith in a hotel kitchen in 1968. I can see alot of RFK in RFKJ yes he has had his share of mistakes but he has served with taking a stand and defending and protecting the environment, his uncle, JFK, in a speech stated that we share this small planet. RFKJr. Fought for our planet, RFK fought for the people. We need our faith, trust, and hope restored, that how we fill truly matters. That our voices are heard and %come together and let those who took JFK and RFK that we havent forgotten, and &

Backpacking in Italy in mid 1980s as 22yr old university student one thing lead to another and i found myself outside of Rome with a big group of gypsys. After hours of drinking suddenly one of the gypsy guys pushed me into a tent trailer where there was a very old gypsy woman - she looked like some biblical age like 900 yrs old sitting on a crate drinking tea. In London i had come across a RFK 68 election campaign pin in a flea market and bought it and was wearing it that night on my jacket. The gypsy woman pointed at it and started babbling away in some language i didnt know. But then one of younger gypsy girls came into the tent and translated - i cant remember the exact words now but the jist of what she said was that until America brings forth the Truth of who killed JFK, RFK and MLK " the 3 good men" the old gypsy woman had called them -and why they were killed America will be locked in a "binding spell"; she likened it to trying to walk with only one leg looking for the missing leg - from that day forward i have always thought of America stumbling along on only one leg with the other leg just around the corner but always out of reach and I often wonder if things would be different now if JFK and RFK had lived and won two terms each - for me it is the greatest what IF in US history. Those 3 assassinations shattered the american collective psyche and we still are dealing with its fallout.

Read an article about catholicism by his son Christopher. Heard a funny story about something his wife once said to Ted Kennedy. Kennedy was partying with them sometime in the 70's. His car was blocked into the driveway or not working. So he asked Buckley for the keys to some other car so he could drive into town and pick up some drinks or snacks or something from somewhere. His wife replied in mock horror that there were 3 bridges on the way to town (this was after Chappaquiddick). I was kinda surprised to find out that they partied with Ted Kennedy.

Additionally, if you get the chance I highly suggest the documentary Best of Enemies which chronicles the rivalry between Buckley and Gore Vidal as it played out during the 1968 conventions where they provided final thoughts each night for ABC. This, it's fair to say, was the forerunner of what we see today in political discourse on news programs. Outstanding documentary.

But he was raised privileged with infidelity as common as breathing
He had never known his father not to cheat on his mother
Possibly she told him its something she can deal with it
bc he always took care of her and the children
but he would go with other women something she accepted as a dutiful wife
But with God it is sin and therefore unacceptable forever could only be removed by repentance to God

    U will never repent
