So cool. I have 90 students in my abnormal psychology class this semester and you know I give everybody a gift this will be perfect. Except for the stabilizer I use dryer sheets. Thanks so much Robin. Blessings.
Ok now that you are a cool kid can I still be your friend? Lol love the idea. I think I will make some for all our nieces as a thinking of you gift. Hugs!
I’m not surprised. They’re small and inexpensive so people tend to buy them. Plus they’re useful. Especially in the winter when we’re all dealing with dry lips. Have fun!
Those are super cute! And much easier than ones I made! 👍 Also good for all the various service people! Mail/garbage/cashier 🙂 I use a blunt wooden chop stick to turn things. Same principle as the the pencil. I also have a stainless steel chop stick w a rounded tip I use to gently poke out corners of of small stuff. (You'll often find kitchen items mixed in my quilting supplies! 😉)
These were super simple and quick. Exactly! I think keeping a bunch of these on hand and stocking up on bulk or sale lip balm is a good idea. I see nothing wrong with borrowing things from other parts of the house to make our crafting easier.
@@rsislandcrafts I have kitchen stuff and garage stuff (t-squares are the best for squaring up quilts for binding), in my sewing room! And its frequently my husband or dad that suggests it!! Lol! But once it finds a place in there they usually dont get it back! 😉 I like to keep a basket handy w small handmade trinket gifts during the holidays. These are definetly making the list 🙂
Yes, a gift basket. I was pushing hard for all of us to have one of those at Christmas last year 🤣. It comes in really handy though. At least the guys know where to look for their “lost” tools 😉
This is definitely going on my list! Very cute ...I can't be without something for my lips, especially in the winter. I did get my hip surgery done on Wednesday.....doing fine. Pain is mostly muscle pain and from sitting in my recliner. I am not much of a "sitter" and this is going to be the worst part, I think! Otherwise, I'm feeling great and I know I will be glad I did it! Now, to do some handwork to survive February without driving and being down to heal. I will survive!! I'll just watch you all the time!
I’m so glad everything went well Lynn!! Sitting and resting is so important in the beginning I’ve heard but I imagine It would drive most of us crazy. I’ll keep you company. Hand work is relaxing and good for the brain. Keep a pad and pen nearby to take notes of what you want to make when you’re back to your sewing machine. I’m sure you’ll dream up many fun projects.
Girl after my own heart!!! gotta love scraps!!!! good project as always Robin!!!!
Thanks Colette!
Great way to use up some of my fabric scraps.. Thank you. Color combinations are going to be so fun.
Choosing fabrics is the fun part.

These will be perfect for that many students. Dryer sheets are just stabilizer that smell nice. 😉
Nice little gift idea Robin - I'm sharing this on my Pinterest board :)
Awesome! Thanks.

Always Sue 💖. You can be a cool kid too 😉. I think they’re wonderful thinking of you gifts. Great for all ages and boy or girl. Man or women.
These are always a good seller at craft shows.... gotta make some up

They are cute. My daughter could use one. She's always misplacing hers. 😊
They’re so small and they hide very well.
