Mt Father, brother, and I fished a fuel depot in Destin a couple of years ago that looks similar to where you're fishing. Had a full day charter. Within 30 - 45 minutes, we each had reached out limits on redfish and trout.

Try the Stingray! You will be pleasantly surprised. It's really good tasting. They are a little tough to clean because of their tough skin, but the meat is delicious, and depending on the size, you can get some really thick steaks. Try it, you'll like it. Your boys will like it too. God bless.

Wow, you make catching sheepshead look so easy. I'm live here in Crestview Florida and fish close to Eglin AFB. I want to catch these convict fish but I don't know where to begin. I tried to use live shrimp but pinfish go on the attack.

Stingray actually taste pretty good but it’s hard to clean them
I've known stingray to be called poor man's scallop.......not the small ones, they're better shark bait. But the bigger ones are best. Usually beat from the TOP two wing filets.

I've eaten stingray. I bled it, took two large filets. It had an unexpected slight taste of bacon. It was edible and interesting.

Stingrays are very good you take you a inch and a half 2 inch PVC pipe cut it at an angle first it has a point and stab the wings and then fillet the skin off each side you’re welcome
