I love this conversation. I am a penny pincher, and although there is negativity surrounding this. I think there is also beauty in it. I love saving because I do not like financial pressure, so I will save to a point where I know that I am okay and can now afford to spend. For example, I love holidays and going outdoors, and sometimes a work opportunity can come where I get to travel, but I always know that I will always have money to explore a new country or city or tourist attractions without any worry or any financial implications. Another benefit for me has been that I don't use my latest salary to live, so payday does not stress me at all, even if it's late. Once I feel I am safe, then I can spend without guilt. So it's not that a penny pincher has to always save and not have enjoyment; we can enjoy without the guilt that comes after cause we know our bank balance can afford that to us.
This was such a fruitful conversation, I love how you ladies acknowledges different money personality. What works for me might not necessarily work for the other person. Thank you so much for sharing 🌸🌸
This session was on point I can't count my aha moments. Victoria is my girl. I have convictions of note I used to operate like her and now I am wondering what happened now🤦🏽I needed to hear this
Learning that money is to be managed not just handled and managing starts with a clear mindset and mindfulness (mental awareness)around money. Takeaway: what is my why (to stay managed and build up the resource)
