Also using cinahobbyline lipo s with 100c mine on 2s stock pinion is all very intense with 4400kv does about 58kmh is round about 36.5mph

Did you have to change anything to fit the 18T pinion?

Once before I did it on a half worn spur gear and it meshed fine. This time I used the 18tooth on a new spur. Mesh was tight at first but broke in together. I held it off the ground and let it spin for awhile then I ran it and it's been holding up better then ever. I think a 17tooth would fit right away mesh perfect. I didn't do it this time, but you can always slot one motor mount hole a tiny bit to slide the motor.

This set is perfect. Start with 17 then bump up after a few runs to 18. I've even had a 19 fit in stock motor mount. It's funny a 370 motor plate fits in the chassis square to the spur and I've made a 26t work once.
