    It's been around 6 years since my frypan has seen chicken drumsticks.
    That job has been for the Airfryer / Ninja ever since. Maybe I should checkout the 'old school' method and have a reunion.
    I've forgotten what a pan fried drumstick tastes like 🤤🤔....

      They will cook eventually, you just have to cook them long enough :) To speed up the process, you can cover them with a lid while cooking, it helps cook them quicker

    I followed these directions and the centers were raw

    • @MelanieCooksRecipes
      @MelanieCooksRecipes  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry it didn't cook through. The times are approximate and depend on the size of the drumsticks (big ones take longer to cook) and your stove heat settings. Basically if they are raw inside, you just need to cook them longer. I recommend using an instant-read thermometer to make sure the internal temperature in the thickest part of the drumstick is at least 165F.

    • @MelanieCooksRecipes

      Even the thickest ones will cook through eventually, they'll just take a long time :)

    • @Vortex_5Gaming
      @Vortex_5Gaming 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MelanieCooksRecipes should I use a lower temperature for thicker ones? To avoid burning?

    • @MelanieCooksRecipes
      @MelanieCooksRecipes  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, whenever something on a pan (no matter which recipe) starts to brown too quickly, always reduce the heat. You can cover the pan with a lid to help it cook quicker, it should really help for bigger pieces of meat.
