Yes Kev, Lakewood is at the old Houston Rockets arena. Dude had enough money to lease it back in the mid 2000s and still had enough to pay even more money to renovate the whole arena into a church. Dude has generational wealth and a literal sports arena church, which is why he got so much backlash for leaving Houstonians out during the hurricane.
Lakewood was not charged “rent” at all. They got to occupy Compaq for free with the agreement they would pay to renovate and maintain the facility while they’re there.
‘Tammy & Marvin’ .. ‘Kev & Angel’.. they are so good together.. Angel is sooo underrated .. the way she she just meshes with him, his stories, his silliness.. and the transition.. 🥰
