After years of stereotypes by people saying Sarawakians live on trees, apparently a hydrogen powered tram is an upgrade to improving the current situation in Sarawak. Even Selangor and KL don't have hydrogen powered trams

ART is no different from long vehicle buses like those in SG. The capacity is small compared to a train and sharing roads with other vehicles can pose problems like accidents with other vehicles and people.

Read or watch Sarawak Metro channel.. Indeed.. Dedicated lanes, elevated lanes and stations upcoming.. We are not stupid to just let the trams run on heavy traffic roads.. Doh.. 😅As a Sarawakian and Kuchingnite myself.. I'm optimistic about this major project but for those who are still sceptical, the next time this project is up running.. Don't be so suddenly excited to use it.. Just use your own transport lah.. Must see then believe? I believe it can be done.. And i cannot wait to ride on it soon..

A dignified articulated bus that needs an expensive reinforced road. Yet another gadgetbahn that has failed everywhere it was experimented in the past 25 years (first one in France in 1999)

There Federal Government should monitor the projects since the project has been given one of the contractors, which is Bustari Yusof (who is related Deputy Prime Minister Yang Amat Berhormat Dato Sri Haji Fadillah Yusof), which have elements of corruption. Later road cost only RM14 millions, will be charged at RM20 millions. No transparency in Sarawak. Putting an extra dedicated lane in existing road is almost impossible since Sarawak didn't have town planning to begin with. Honestly, the purchase of the ART is expensive and never have been cheap in terms of maintenance. In Sarawak, projects are given to construction company that has ties to relatives of the ministers and Premier.

Regardless of the money comes from need someone to watch over. State money is still the rakyat's money. Even the project brings enormous benefit for the people of Sarawak, the people of Sarawak will think otherwise since it is just another project for the YBs to cash in the rakyats money into their pocket. Demi rakyat or Demi YB? Even the Muslims questioning where is the Amanah? To be Amanah, then be transparent and fair.

ART OF ENGINEERING. HYDROGEN IS VERY UNSTABLE, LIQUID PROPANE WOULD BE MORE STABLE. HYDROGEN is DANGEROUS, HIGHLY EXPLOSIVE if exposed to FLAMMABLE PARTICLES OR CHEMICALS. GIVEN RIGHT TEMPERATURE & RIGHT CONDITIONS of exposure, DANGER IS MORE UNAVOIDABLE. SAFETY FACTOR COULD SUFFER.
