    What a Grim looking place Christchurch has become, Fast trafic noisey I thought Bournmourh was BAD. Glad I moved out.

      there is still some beautiful parts of christchurch , but yeah i get what you mean

    You forgot to mention Tucktonia when you were at the bridge 😅😅 Fun fact, my great uncle was in the army working at a place near Tuckton roundabout when it was the comms centre for D Day.
    Also the old building behind those stocks was the old courthouse in the middle ages, I forget the date's though.

    not been around some of these parts since the early 90s but the 80s were fun around the ruins. thanks for the nostalgia trip

      We used to use dustbin lids to sledge down the slopes of the keep after our paper rounds. I recall never being scared climbing to the top of the keep, but last time I was back home I looked up and thought fuck that....

    In Anglo Saxon times it was called Tweoxnham, and later Twynham.
