I would love to meet this great family sometime. Not in any kind of professional setting, maybe just in a coffee shop or on the street somewhere and with them having plenty of time just to visit. Their music speaks to my soul. Wonderful people produce wonderful music. I thank God every night for the Kempters and for others like them. I would ask that Chris come to my funeral and play this song. but there would be no point as I would not be there to enjoy it.
Rediscovered this one tonight. It really soothed my soul in troubled times. Thanks Chris. My favorite though is "How Do I Know God" followed by "The Place". Hope all of you are well. If the panic-demic has pulled you off the road for a time, I hope you'll do a live stream some evening. Thanks again for reaching out with your spirit through music.
Many TH-camrs may not know or recognise the tune, but I just wanted to let you know that not only did I recognise the tune from the first note, I was able to sing along to it. Thank you very much for posting such beautiful and entertaning videos
I love it! My mom used to walk around the house doing housework when I was little (I'm 63 now) humming or singing this song and "The Old Rugged Cross" all the time. Thank you.
This was my nanny's favorite. She has been gone 56 years and I still cry over missing her. Thank you this beautiful remembrance. I look forward to that day when we will meet again. God Bless your family.
So brilliant an interpretation that I did not recognise the tune until I read one of the comments below - not a criticism this is lovely. Many years ago I went to a funeral where this was sung - it was not a tune I knew and I asked my companion from work if he knew it. "Yes indeed" he replied, "I was brought up in a pit village in Durham (England) - we were all Chapel and on a Suturday night, my Dad would go to the pub. We always knew when he was coming home, because we always heard him singing the Old Rugged Cross at the top of his voice as he walked down the street to home.
Most beautiful rendition of In the garden I have ever heard. I am extremely impressed with both of these performers, my hat is off to you both, really great job. Thank you for what you do.
Very beautiful!! Amazing, and so lovely I could feel the tears coming from the very beginning of the fiddle! You guys have some awesome talent, I do so hope to see more and more of you!!
Wow that was a beautiful rendition, I am so shocked at me listening to the largest portion of your music now thinking of who I am and where I came from, total turn around for me, .... Thank You!
Great musicianship on both of your parts. This song was new to me and I really enjoyed this video. I should also add that whomever did the sound recording did a great job!
I would love to hear y'all do A Poor Wayfaring Man Of Grief, and God Be With You Til We Meet Again, and I know That My Redeemer Lives. I believe you would do such beautiful work with them!
Beautiful work on the violin and piano but I would like to also give recognition to the pilot operating the drone. To the drone pilot, you also did a great job. (I would like to have a drone but I know I would crash it)
Maybe you can answer this question: how in the world do people get pianos outside and keep them in tune (you know, like the Piano Guys)? I know it can't be a green screen trick because of the way the light reflects off the instruments. Beautiful piece, btw. I remembered watching your take on the Orange Blossom Special, looked it up again, and decided to watch a few more videos. You seem like a wonderful family who enjoys spending time with each other through your gift of music. 🙂🙂🙂
Beautiful, great fiddling. I've never heard that lovely song before. Is it a gospel tune? Do you know the composer or any other info so I can look it up? ... Ah, I found it, Charles Austin Miles (1912). But I haven't found any version as lovely as yours.
They were all him. Innovative camera work was responsible for that hugely entertaining video. I go back and rewatch it every few months. Utterly charming.
ONE question PLEASE! Can I adopt YoU?!!!😏 I can be YouR GRANDMA!☺👍👌👏 YOU are simply InCreDiBLY AweSomE! ...*just a reminder... Grandmas send Christmas and Birthday gifts!👍😉❤
Brought tears to my ears and comfort to my ears as I walked the Montana countryside this morning.
May God always bless and love you Kempters !!

Such beautiful music from the two young people.
What a talented young man...and young woman. A handsome family. They won the lottery...a work ethic, talent, good looks.
This was my nanny's favorite. She has been gone 56 years and I still cry over missing her. Thank you this
beautiful remembrance. I look forward to that day when we will meet again. God Bless your family.
That is beautiful, and what an unusual piano.

My mother's favorite. Makes me miss her so very much. why did I waste so much time when visiting when I couldd have learned so much about her.

Thank you! Yes, its a very old gospel song.
@@TheKempters7 Elvis sang it on an album back in the 50s or 60s.
I've always been partial to Mahalia's, if you want another one to enjoy :) th-cam.com/video/l65z2AkrAZc/w-d-xo.html
Wow......
when are you going to be performing in England or Euro Land Please?
Very Special..
This Fiddler, of the original 5 fiddlers as 14 year olds playing in "orange Blossom Special"? by the Kempters in original youtube video, is this one?
They were all him. Innovative camera work was responsible for that hugely entertaining video. I go back and rewatch it every few months. Utterly charming.
Are you saying there were NOT 5 different fiddlers, but different videos of ONE fiddler merged together
❤❤
❤😊❤
Interesting piano

I learned recently that Chaz, the father, died several years ago.
Are you all self taught on how to play your instruments?
Our Dad taught us almost everything we know!
