- I explain the difference between i^1 and 1^i. Are those equal to what you think they're equal to? Watch this video and be surprised!

Sometimes the principal branch is defined for angles from -pi (excluded) to pi (included), it's a matter of convention.

Tu m'as coupé l'herbe sous le pied.
Very rewarding video, this 1 to the i has just reciprocated every "projection" onto the real line of whole-number walks around the circle. (Or rather every real perimeter of a whole-number walk around the unit circle.)
It's no coincidence that the video is 3.14 minutes long.
Wild feeling about "1" where more things to be found inside "1" then anywhere else.
I am a teenager going to school... whenever my teacher scolds me for anything..I pose these questions to him...😁😁

you're making me like complex no. which i used to find very complex, thank you sir :)
@1:12 "e to the 2 Peyam!" haha
And remember, I don’t like to be on bottom, i like to be on top.
3:14 minutes long. Cool.
This aside, interesting topic.
One more wonderful video from Dr. Peyam. Thanks for sharing the knowledge!!
Happy Teaching✌️
Do a video on wavelets!
I agree! Please consider this as a video on wavelet analysis would be great.
pi m = payem
video length 3.14
You definitely do it deliberately, right?
super cool, anyway!
Yes 😉
e^-2Peyam is my new favorite number!
Awwww
You should do a video on the different types of means and proofs for them
This is the proof
What’s pretty cool is that power notation to exp-log notation always gives a unique number - the principal root.
A little comment: 1 is NOT e^(2*Pi*i). As complex numbers in exponential form are r*e^(theta*i), in fact IS 1*e^(2*Pi*i). I mean: you ALSO have to multiply with the module. Yes, it's 1, but if you are taking exponents, you ALSO have to take it for the module (and then we would go again to 1^i). Little, subtle, but BIG difference. Try, if you want, for example 2^i.
Of course the rest is 100% correct: it's a multivalued solution.
Congratulations on this tongue-in-cheek video, Dr. Pi-M!
Video running time is 3.14 which equals π.. Dr Peyam is on the way to like the comment!
Thank you Dr "Pi M"
Another number worth looking at is the πth roots of 1. This is cool because the values are dense in the unit circle.
Near the beginning, you mention that you get a single value out of raising a complex number to a real power. It's actually raising a complex number to an integer power that matters, in case people wanted to compare i^π with π^i.
Good point
Youu are amazing! Thank you for great clips!
very quick and concise!
I love Dr peyammmm!!!!
Thankyou.
Nice video, stay strong and proud.
Omg! Dr. πM!!!
Can't understand
Please tell are you comparing both which one greater
If yes how complex number can be compared as they are coordinates of argand plane
Yours videos are amazings dr!, greetings!...
Super cool!
I love your videos
Great video! Thank you
fantastic!
It took me a pi to watch this - delicious!
Sir i want you to solve r^5 + 5r^4 -1=0
mind blowing
He didn't actually know that there was a camera in front of him when he was doing this explanation. He was just preparing for an upcoming lecture, and someone else hid, recorded, and uploaded him pretending that there was an invisible audience, and practicing alone in his kitchen.
Yes, that would explain him looking directly at the camera
It has been long time you don't upload your video Sir...
sir I have a question about value of i why is it square of i =-1 not 1
great sir Amazing 💖🌷
please do a video on how to solve x+2=4
What if i^i^i^i^i....^i ?
Good question!
e to the -2Peyam 😂😂
awesome ❤💖
e to the two peyam
What is the value of i^(1/sqrt(2))? :D
2πM = To Peyam 👌😂
Spidey? Is that you?
sir i have certain doubts, could i mail them to you please??
e ^{ - 2 PEYAM }
Super cool , yes lots of sol in one hand. yoo , wanna know thing than go listen Dr. (Pi)eyam! what say you folks! Like Dr. Peyam.
cool bossman the intellect.
❤️
π minute long video!! 😀
nope, 14 seconds = 14/60 minutes = 7/30 minutes = 0,2333... minutes which is quite bigger than π-3 minutes, which is approximately eight and a half seconds long.
Ok, but who wins? 😋
1:10 e to the two peyam (?
3:14 Minutes... see what you did there ;-)
3:14 long video
This video is Pi minutes long!
