The adding of some acrylic paint to the Puddles product and letting it pool in the indentations gives the sense of wet and trampled terrain. This would be a very sound basis for a muddy diorama. Paper, up to a point absorbs moisture, and even when saturated would wick excess moisture; I would say the discarded newspaper in this diorama would look a wee bit better if left matte and not glossy, and would serve to juxtapose the surrounding, saturated environment. Kudos to Puddles!

Looks like you can really get some great results with this product. I will have to keep an eye out for it when I next order some modelling products.
