I used to play Minecraft on a PVP server with my little bro. He took it really seriously, and when other players would hack (fly to his island, use antiknockback, etc.) it really upset him. The mods wouldn't do anything about it either. So without telling him, I used a hacked client, and when someone was clearly hacking, I'd take them out to level the playing field. I do think hacking is justified when moderators don't deal with hackers effectively. That doesn't mean most people can be trusted to use it for purely benevolent reasons.

it took about 2 day for people to stop building at spawn the first few hours 0:00 on day 1 it was called happy town it was destroyed by withers on day 2 it was called treeton I don't know what destroyed treeton on day 3 everyone one was far apart between day 4 and 5 around midnight a hacker kept killing us over and over on day 7 it looked like that 8:47 I might be a little off because I didn't write this down. this isn't a complete timeline.

I totally agree that cheating is not cool, even against other cheaters. Two hackers don't make a right; they just ruin the fun for everyone else. When in doubt you just gotta follow by the golden rule: "treat others the way you want to be treated."
You gotta step up your admin game. There are admin tools that will enable you to see which players have placed blocks, when it happened, and then you can revert areas to back before the fill destruction happened. One of the best ways to stop hackers is by removing their footprint entirely.

There’s an issue with that though. For one, a lot of people really do hack only to counter hackers, and just do it only to have a chance at surviving, and would drop the hacks if the malicious hackers weren’t there. On top of that, you never know who’s really hacking. With this realm the “good hackers” were often Robin Hooding and giving out hacked gear to less fortunate players just so they could help them survive, but if someone were to see me wandering about with full diamond I’d think they’d assume I was a hacker even if I wasn’t hacking myself.
Fun fact: The first hacker didn't just have flight, but also quickly turned on kill aura. You can tell by the way his head moves at 4:45. His head was centered on you until you left a certain radius.
What you need to do: Put a reminder in chat every 30min telling people to not grief/hack/etc or they'll be banned, no exceptions (and follow through on the threat).
It was SO good when there were no hackers! The one time the realm was ok to play and you don't play on it and record. It was so fun, no hackers! Then the withers came... But my bunker worked at Least!

Honestly, I hope the more ethical hackers come and watch the video to see why you were asking them to stop. Ie: that you were going after the bad hackers, not exactly them. Cheating in multiplayer games is horrid. My honest opinion is that cheating before you beat a game ruins the point of even playing it.

no, you can do it for longer with /effect [effectname] 1000000 255 true, and the 255 is level of power for the effect.

hackers are the thing that makes every online game half as good as it has the potential of being.
That’s actually so adorable. His idea of putting hacker in there place is by role playing a bit, sitting them down, saying no no, then attempting to kick a hacker who seemed to have only hacked to get out of another hackers death loop. And with the world how it was, I’m pretty sure nobody cared to even try to play normal with the inevitable destruction of their work xD. Man. I love how this youtuber thinks. So intelligent. Much wow.

Why do u comment on almost every single video. U know your not going to get attention from him because u always comment. Now when I watch an ibxtoycat video I check to see if u comment. That's how bad and annoying it is

Honestly, I hope the more ethical hackers come and watch the video to see why you were asking them to stop. Ie: that you were going after the bad hackers, not exactly them.
Cheating in multiplayer games is horrid.
My honest opinion is that cheating before you beat a game ruins the point of even playing it.

You're wasting too much time talking to them, just ban them as soon as you see them using hacks and move on to the next guy. You'd get the point across much easier if you actually care about the hacking
