My mum is Aussie, from Melbourne, my dad is Canadian, lived in New Zealand for a few years and they met in Canada. I grew up with an Aussie accent. I was asked many times if I was Irish, lol . Loved this video! Just food for thought - one of my best friends is german and australian and speaks both languages to perfection. She grew up here in Australia but went to a german international primary school and speaks english at home but her and her siblings speak german just with her mum.
