Taking on, over twenty years now, I still LOVE Anthony Green. things get crazy, but I always come back and appreciate so so much. Thank you. Miracle sun, stone hearted man. Baby girl. I find comfort.
The most talented musician of our generation. Imo. This interview cures depression. Thanks, Paste!!! Please keep bringing Anthony in and Circa Survive for these livestreams.
The way he writes his lyrics are so top notch because he keeps his songs from being over saturated with words like "I" and "you". His lyric writing will be a major study some day.
@Rob Ghaderi Passion it the "Key Word". True passion drives YOU. I really believe true passion is uncontrollable for those that feel it. It is only silenced for a while by creating. It must be fed and the more you feed it the hungrier it gets. We all have this hunger in us, but "I" believe, 99.9 % of us are settling for something that makes us comfortable (or money). Deep down, we all still have that itch that needs to be scratched. That itch that tells us there's something more.
Anthony Green dude is phenomenal definitely one of the greatest artist of all time. Truly. Everything comes from the heart and soul makes you feel have to just love, appreciate and respect it all for what it is and how he just delivers such emotion nothing but praise for this guy always. 🙏❤️✊️
Humble is an understatement. I’ve seen him live in multiple of his bands and he always sits outside and talks to his fans after every show until everyone is done. He’s a class act
He does or he wouldnt be able to do it. When you find your voice you can feel it and hear it. He knows exactly what hes doing, hes using a ton of vocal techniques. Your voice just doesn't start amazing he practices all the time and explores ALL of his voice not just the parts everyone else does.
dude, none of you have apparently paid any attention to him in interviews before. He's the opposite of humble. Also, he's insane. Still an amazingly voice though.
You're so Dead Meat gives me chills. His ability to change pitch in accordance to what he's trying to convey is incredible. Absolutely obssessed with the song and love Anthony Green!
I say that all the time it's actually one of the biggest reasons why he's one of my favorite singers his vocal range is literally impossible and he has perfect control of it the way he can go from so soft and delicate to him having so much grit in his voice and he just rides it out through every note it really is something incredible
I remember watching this live when it streamed and at 19:53, that comment about perceptive fans was in reference to my comment about Anthony preparing to play "You're So Dead Meat" because he used the capo on the 5th fret. This album, "Would You Still Be In Love" is my favorite solo record that Anthony Green has put out. ❤
He sounds amazingggg. I saw him last night at lpr and the crowd was nuts and he was just feeding off it and was so pumped, he was absolutely on point when he said it was loud lol
Amazing production and outstanding performance by Mr. Green. . . I've see him live before and he blew me AWAY with his voice, talent, and great personality towards his own work and interactions with the crowd are numerous and genuinely kind. Very personal art form in the way of the art and abstraction of an idea- perhaps his biggest achievement in enduring how difficult life is for anyone in this day and age. Job well done. My personal favorite is Child of The Desert and Phantasmagoria. Shout out to Circa Survive and the awesome fans.
Anthony embarrassed the unseen handsome man when he mentioned how attractive he was. Either he has a crush on Anthony Green and didn't know how to take it, or he's the most humble person in the
I honestly think he’s just one of the men who actually know how to use their voice. Most men don’t know how to do it and either yell or sing in falsetto when they get up there, if they even can, but Anthony has a finesse with his cords that seems to be rare ime, but in reality I think it’s the natural way a male voice can sound
AG is seriously the best. Ive seen him with Saosin and Circa and I hope someday ill get the chance to catch a acoustic solo show. His solo stuff is my fav.
when this ep came out I was dissapointed it was mainly acoustic. I had been waiting for more like avalon. but after all this time I now know these are the best songs he's ever written
some of the lyrics from this performance are off from the actual Album, what gives? lol im not here to hate but Anthony def had different thoughts on the lyrics then what made it on the album
When it comes to live performances, he likes to put a different spin on songs, or he'll simply forget the lyrics to whatever song and just improvise. Either way, it makes every performance a special one.
He seems to flip verses a lot like during Why must we wait he says In a murderous broth in the first verse when on the album it's in the second verse but he does this with a lot of his songs
Taking on, over twenty years now, I still LOVE Anthony Green. things get crazy, but I always come back and appreciate so so much. Thank you. Miracle sun, stone hearted man. Baby girl. I find comfort.
Still listening to this in 2024 ❤ this is amazing, raw, and sooo melodic. 💘
The most talented musician of our generation. Imo. This interview cures depression. Thanks, Paste!!! Please keep bringing Anthony in and Circa Survive for these livestreams.
Read this and "liked" it before seeing who posted it hahah Love you, Dana!
Totally. All his interviews cure depression. 😊
You couldn't be more wrong, you fucking idiot.
My top five singers all time
The way he writes his lyrics are so top notch because he keeps his songs from being over saturated with words like "I" and "you". His lyric writing will be a major study some day.
What a legend, how can you lead so many awesome musical acts at once and be that productive?
AG makes the world a better place.
Donovan Melero does the same.

There is real pain behind his eyes during these songs. Thank you for sharing yourself with us, we are so grateful
I just want to say thank you Paste because this is the closest thing we are ever going to have that resembles an MTV Unplugged.
when that vein starts poppin u know ur tears r about to start flowin damn tony
Sika W. Personally I just love watching his face change colors as choruses come and go
Idk about tears, but maybe a few blood vessels

He’s so humble I wonder if he realizes how incredible his vocals are

this might be my favorite live performance of his, perfect

I could listen to his voice all day. Just an unforgettable voice
Youre So Dead Meat is such a beautiful song, and he sounds so good live!
I'm obsessed!!
Circa Survive, Jeer At Rome, EP Saosin, Audience of One, Solo...you are literally the best and you have so many styles...so much talent.

No one can be like him. He is super special! His voice, his character. Perfect!
He sounds amazingggg. I saw him last night at lpr and the crowd was nuts and he was just feeding off it and was so pumped, he was absolutely on point when he said it was loud lol
I was at that concert too! "Sold out on a sunday night" the concert was amazing - the entire crowd going "BABY GIRL TWIST AWAY" was. just. amazing.
YESS. Dear Child was amazing too.. that entire night was just awesome
helluva crowd, never wanted it to end
Love how he laughs at his mess up @ 19:18. Like he's like yup messed up but gotta keep going.
literally so beautiful, feels like the universe is just singing thru him
Why am I getting uncle Jesse vibes?😂 love this man!
i used to hear Anthony green sings when he was still in Saosin, Circa survive, solo till this day november 2018.
i really like how he sing songs.
Why does no one mention The Sound of Animals Fighting? I loved his singing the most in the album "The ocean and the Sun"
Amazing production and outstanding performance by Mr. Green. . .

He looks so handsome here. Why Must We Wait is one of my favorite songs of his in a long time.
isn't he always?
This vocal range is so strange in a man its a gift

FIRE. This man never disappoints.
AG is seriously the best. Ive seen him with Saosin and Circa and I hope someday ill get the chance to catch a acoustic solo show. His solo stuff is my fav.
Legend.
Anthony Green one of my favorite humans on this earth ☺️ God bless!
He's an actual angel on this earth.
Anthony is so heartfelt!! Vintage.
Damn, I love this man.
Anthony green was my husband in another dimension
most beautiful songs . interesting singing style . top class artist .
Kilby in SLC last night was amazing. I love AG and GOW dudes. Even better 10 years later
This dude is simply amazing.
when this ep came out I was dissapointed it was mainly acoustic. I had been waiting for more like avalon. but after all this time I now know these are the best songs he's ever written
my best artist
Anthony's the best
omg i am about to go to his show in Orlando can not wait!
I just went from 6 to midnight
That second song was the first time I've heard that kind of falsetto from him. Holy shit.
Man I fucking love this live session.
This is one of my favorite captures on TH-cam in a while
Incredible performance
beautiful
Fantastic❤
Anyone here still listen to 'audience of one' ? 💗 [his high school band]
Beautiful
SUCH A AMAZING SINGER
Holy shit those falsettos
the Justin Theroux of music. just a beautiful dude... damn.
"I talk a lot, which is probably bad." (A. Green, 2018) ♥
This is beautiful ❤️ deserves more likes
Estas canciones faltaron en Chile xD en Vans ¡¡¡ Hermosa voz Anthony Green ¡¡
Fuck. This version of the second song he plays is so good.
Who tf thumbs downed this video 😭😭
I could listen to the falsetto parts of keep your mouth shut all day...I mean I already do but
since saosin until now i'm stick with him..
If Anthony Green sang Gospel music id still listen to him. I always thought he had a good gospel/choir voice
Such a... unique voice for an adult male.
can anyone post the correct chords for you're so dead meat?
Capo/chord placement is usually how I figure out what song I was playing when someone snapped a picture. I’m pretty good at it. Lol #thesongwriter
I love this, I wish that I could be with my twin flame already instead of her always running away!!!
🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
Q es maravilloso este tipo la cago
Anyone know what the tuning for your so dead meat is ?
Hard to believe he lived like less them 2 hours from me .
men with much less talent have a fraction of the humility Anthony Green has
I'm definitely straight but he is a beautiful man.
Nice shoes
So theory you should do a cover of nervana maybe one of their softer ones
damien sky he has, many times! Check out circaa cover of dumb
Circa’s cover of Scentless Apprentice is top tier
hola
Saosin
I'm not gay but he is so fucking amazing and beautiful I'd probably open mouth kiss him once. Maybe twice...
Magaly K. Zamora If you see this just know I long for us to be together once again.
Im stick with this musician
Such a nice nice nervous young man
he looks like johnny cash here for some reason to me :O
Kinda see it
some of the lyrics from this performance are off from the actual Album, what gives? lol im not here to hate but Anthony def had different thoughts on the lyrics then what made it on the album

I like the different lyrics at the end of Dead Meat more than the album, they seem more personal
I know you spent your money
He seems to flip verses a lot like during Why must we wait he says In a murderous broth in the first verse when on the album it's in the second verse but he does this with a lot of his songs
I think he just lives in the moment when he performs. Really good stuff.
