I had a 82 ATC 110. That will be fun to watch. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Another nice video and I hope one day to make it down to the Tushars. It is on my bucket list. Oh and I didn't know that the Tushars were pronounced Tooshars and not Tuhshars. Now I know. :)
It will definitely be worth the trip... And actually the locals call it Tuhshars I found out while the out-of-towners call them Tooshars. I'm not real sure there is a correct pronunciation considering how many of the name are pronounced in Utah :-)
Nice trail Doug. I like the tighter 2 track trails myself. Looks pretty easy too. I like a little faster pace normally myself on easy trails. Not flying down at 45-50 mph like some would go but i think 25-30 mph would be a good medium pace. Fast enough to be a little sporty but not so fast that you can't see anything or feel out of control in case you do encounter one of those fast sport riders. Bring your cooler with you with some snacks and drinks and maybe even lunch and make a whole day of it.
It seems most really nice 50" trails require a few miles on easy roads to get there.....
The only potential problem with wide trails like the one that gets you to the 2 track trail in this video is that they allow pretty much any type of vehicle. It could make for some tight meetings if you have 2 large vehicles meeting each other like 2 Jeeps or even a Jeep and a 64" side by side. Thats the one problem with 2 way trails, there's always the potential you will meet another vehicle at the wrong time. I'm sure it can be managed but there are some spots where it can get sketchy I bet.
I don't mind tight meetings, it's the surprised meetings that scare me. My issue with the wide and smoother roads is the speeds that some Side by Sides and motorcycles carry without proper attention...
I get what you're saying. Its like that down on the main trail at Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky. All types of vehicles from dirt bikes up to full size trucks and jeeps are allowed. The difference in speed can cause incidents too. The guys on dirt bikes and sport quads will go a lot faster than the guys on full size rigs, even if in the same direction can cause problems.
A video on an atc would be cool
As a matter of fact we have one coming on an '82 Honda ATC 110.
