HANGONAMINUTE locking into my brain that BC and EF are always together INSTANTLY worked for me and suddenly I have a grasp of the fretboard I didn't have 10 minutes ago. THANK YOU

THANK YOU! I WAS JUST SLIGHTLY DREADING HAVING TO MEMORISE THE ENTIRE FRETBOARD BUT NOW I DON'T EVEN HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT. I CAN ALREADY FIGURE OUT THE NOTES. I FIGURED OUT THE PATTERN QUITE QUICKLY WHEN I FIRST SAW THE CHART ON GOOGLE IMAGES BUT THEN GOT A LITTLE CONFUSED ABOUT THE OPEN STRINGS AND ALL THE FLATS BUT NOW THAT YOU MENTIONED THE PIANO, IT'S SO MUCH EASIER TO SEE THE FRETBOARD AS KEYS. ALSO, JUST LEARNED HOW I CAN PLAY AROUND WITH RANDOM NOTE SHAPES TURNING THEM INTO CHORD PROGRESSIONS, THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Thanks. What’s the relationship between the same notes in terms of note progression for example the open A note, the A note on the 2nd fret, the A note on the 5th fret and the A note on the 8th fret in terms of octaves or pitch

The "spaces" are half-steps right? So for the G string it'd be G, G Sharp, A, A Sharp, B, C, and so on so forth?
