HANGONAMINUTE locking into my brain that BC and EF are always together INSTANTLY worked for me and suddenly I have a grasp of the fretboard I didn't have 10 minutes ago. THANK YOU
Whoa man! am here playing all the musical notes on all strings man.. learnt this lesson for the first time and it's been 2 months since I picked up the instrument! So so cool now thanks.. finally I can play it by myself on my uke
At age 67 have just begun to try learning something about the ukulele. Your video is wonderful. Thank you so much for bringing this to us. Best wishes! (Liked and Subscribed)
Thank you very VERY much for uploading this video...it made me understand MUCH better where all the notes "came from" and WHY they are placed where they are!!! Makes so much cense to me now....Thanks again!!!!...I really liked how simple your approached is...and because of this you've got a new subscriber😎
THANK YOU! I WAS JUST SLIGHTLY DREADING HAVING TO MEMORISE THE ENTIRE FRETBOARD BUT NOW I DON'T EVEN HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT. I CAN ALREADY FIGURE OUT THE NOTES. I FIGURED OUT THE PATTERN QUITE QUICKLY WHEN I FIRST SAW THE CHART ON GOOGLE IMAGES BUT THEN GOT A LITTLE CONFUSED ABOUT THE OPEN STRINGS AND ALL THE FLATS BUT NOW THAT YOU MENTIONED THE PIANO, IT'S SO MUCH EASIER TO SEE THE FRETBOARD AS KEYS. ALSO, JUST LEARNED HOW I CAN PLAY AROUND WITH RANDOM NOTE SHAPES TURNING THEM INTO CHORD PROGRESSIONS, THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Man, guess who is learning it the hard way... ME! cuz before i watched this video i plucked every single string on every single fret and memorize it. And that never worked. So thx for making me understand and memorize the fretboard man. I appreciate it
Man you deserve a lot more recognition. Please continue to bless us with these kind of informations. Can you also talk about chord progressions and chord families?
Thanks. What’s the relationship between the same notes in terms of note progression for example the open A note, the A note on the 2nd fret, the A note on the 5th fret and the A note on the 8th fret in terms of octaves or pitch
Great teaching method. You are very skilled to the point I got it the vet first time. Its easier once things are explained. Thank you for your wonderful work. At 65 im barely learning to play the Ukelele.
This is the best explanation I ve come across. And I love your little jokes, man you are really good doing this, please continue! It s the first time I am actually motivated to study them notes... You make it light and cool and easy. Bless you! :)

The "spaces" are half-steps right? So for the G string it'd be G, G Sharp, A, A Sharp, B, C, and so on so forth?
