My personal interpretation of this video with the song is that, it's not that taking "Happy Pills" is making a sad and lonely old man feel like a young and carefree guy, but that the LACK of his pills causes this young carefree guy to feel sad, lonely, and old
It feels like a much more accurate way to look at it from my experience, and I think that it lines up a lot more with what's going on than the initial reaction you're likely to have of the old man being the reality and the young guy being almost this fake feeling that the old man is experiencing

The young guy is what would be normal, the old man isn't
It also feels much healthier to me to look at it this way than that the medications meant to help an old man are making him crazy from abuse like I've seen people saying in the comments (Not that that interpretation is to be taken lightly, drug abuse is a terrible thing and if the videos trying to convey that then I can't argue with it, but I feel much more comfortable with my interpretation than that one)

I going to explain this song:
This song is about anti-depressants and this people oberdose and are chaotic in some sort of way. In the beginning you can see all the prescribed pills. The song name also gives it away. This is about a depressed hot, who overdoses and goes chaotic, but in his head are telling him things due to overdosage. He was kind of in despair so that's why he started. He is happy so he's going around with friends, being a reboulius teen. The pills are making him happy in a chaotic way and messing with his brain and the anti depressants are making him insane and taking control of his head, almost like sleep paralysis. But it turns out the pills made h8m feel younger and made him over dose more as the weird grandpa. Thank you for reading.
