    I love walking to Berkeley from Richmond im still learning my way around the city. Almost every Saturday is Shattuckday but im going to walk to the Marina for the first time if it dont rain tomorrow. I was crazy for walking from Richmond to Telegraph then back to Richmond one day. My body was killing me I was so thirsty that day I must of went to like 8 stores to buy a drink lol. Im glad you put Allston street in the video I went there once tried finding the area again but didnt know the street name.

    Wowzer, my old childhood haunts! I spent my formative years wandering those streets! 1970s!!!! So many memories! Remember Larry Blake's? Remember the indoor trampolines? I used to think the fountain on campus was my own swimming pool and coin dispenser!😂

    Live the red buildings there downtown. The architecture is awesome!

    Is Berkeley California bigger than El Paso Texas

    • @ExplorationToGo
      @ExplorationToGo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, it is not. Population wise, El Paso is 4 times bigger than Berkeley, CA.

    Oakland - yes, that wonderful city that I want to stay a long way from.

    • @ExplorationToGo

      Lol, well this video is about Berkeley, not Oakland. However, Oakland is starting to clean up as well, although very very slowly, lol. Thanks for the comment!

      Lol, most of Oakland is very nice and pretty expensive. You're thinking of the 80s Oakland. Now most of the houses are over $1 million.

    I can't hardly believe this is Be-zerk-ley - it's too Metro-upscale - it doesn't fit the memories i have of the eighties. They've cleaned it up and expanded tremendously.

    • @ExplorationToGo
      @ExplorationToGo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, they have some building projects and they have started cleaning some of the dilapidated areas which is a great thing. It is like a expansion of San Francisco. Thanks for the comment, really appreciate it.
