I’ve watched this like three times today, it’s wonderful! Now it’s saved to my Favorite Yanghaiying playlist so I can find it again. 🍃🍂🍁

throwing leafs is a method of dumping waste products. since trees can transport liquids from the trees up, but do not have a different method of depositing stuff, except from putting it into the new wood rings. so just before dropping the leafs they put all the unwanted byproducts, which makes nice colors.

我很喜欢秋天的红叶!🍁🍂🧡 Where I live we don't have many red leaves, instead we have all kinds of evergreen Mediterranean trees. One has to go to up North too see those beautiful autumnal scenery. And "Su" means "Water" in my language, kind of even sounds like 水。For Anthocyanin, Anthos is 花, Cyan is 青 in Greek. So it exactly means 花青素。I really enjoyed this Chinese&Biochemistry lecture. 谢谢老师!
