I love you. So much you have no idea! Week in Review and Weekend in Review might have ended but rest assured, The Haute Review isn't going anywhere - Insha Allah. We hope you guys will give it the same amount of love and show it the same level of support that you did to WIRs. Also, sorry about the delay in upload. Did want to delay tonight's episode a bit but promise didn't intend for it to come out this late. Anyway, hope the wait was worth it 😊❤️😘

Regarding Kashf - it was the perfect ending because for a Muslim death is not the end. It's the beginning of eternity. And Kashf's journey in this world was too painful so her death was her entrance into peace and happiness.

Kashf was never shown as a person who could go up against her family and live an independent life. This is her happy end as she got escape from the world that didn’t deserve her. And as for her family, they will live continue there lives in misery and regret.

I remember in the first episode of Kashf, she was repeatedly advised by Qari sahab not to reveal that she has true dreams, bthe purpose was to make her understand that this kind of thing is too big for a person to deal with and makes one vulnerable to be exploited because othe rpeople also cannot deal with it the right way. So Amna is very right in saying that this is not something she could handle because she was torn between so many things, obeying her father, being true to her faith, the burden of knowing but still having the doubt whether all dreams are true or not, because she was not a prophet, so there was no guarantee. All that is too much to handle. And her death, for her, was not a tragedy. She was a true believer, at the end of her life, she was preaching the right thing. It's a Muslim's dream to die a true believer. If she remained in the same circumstances, she would have been steered in the wrong way by her family eventually, because there was no way out for her. Her being a dutiful daughter was a part of being a true believer, I would have been really surprised if she rebelled. Death was her freedom.

Kashf: Perfect ending. Kashf's ending was not supposed to be happy ending. Kashf was in eternal peace. Her death Was The kind of death every Muslim dreams of. Her sister is in permanent loss. She has lost Wajdan forever and that realization is killing. The rest of the family is going to suffer for the rest of thr lives and Wajdan's extreme love for Kashf completely justified his ending in Mazaar.

It’s sad that Something Haute didn’t win the awards, I mean, the channel has got two famous journalists coming together for a venture, being utmost respectful, brutally honest and most of all, professional. Each word and statement is well thought of and you presented in the least damaging way. Taking up the social responsibility, by making the public aware of the Ali vs Misha case, which none of the others have done. Raising questions on morally incorrect thing shown in drama. Holding correct people accountable. Calling the right person and asking the viewer’s questions, we’ll within the time, instead of after the drama.
And, most of all, the most influential and known in the industry. Being called for prestigious functions, events, premieres, etc, certainly shows how well they are respected in the society.
Also, they do verify the news before posting or talking about it, like any responsible new agency, instead of posting blind news, maybe that’s why they are a little late. But, the news is trustworthy.
Also, how to forget how eloquent they are!
Pity, people couldn’t recognise it. Hopefully, from next time, Something Haute wins the social media awards

On Kashf: "Jitna barra zarf utni barri azmaish, jitni barri azmaish utna barra ajar"
Hassan - what makes you think life and having a husband is equivalent to a happy ending? Kashf went through so much from the hands of her own family that life held no meaning for her anymore. She met the almighty with a clear heart and that is real win for a momin. Jo deewana hua wo dunya k liye miserable hy but usky dil sy poochain to wo dunya ka khush qismat tareen insaan hy jo wo jaan gya jo conventionally normal log nhi Jan paaye
Cutting it short - your parameters of normal/abnormal, happy/unhappy are different from writer's. Kashf had possibly the best ending it could have.

It is very disheartening to hear Hassan's views on Kashf. This drama was not a social drama, however, it was addressing a philosophic and metaphoric state of affairs, Religion, if commercialized, it affects all, and the degenerationwill be total. This drama is brilliant in keeping a balance between narrative being strong but not melodramatic. the message was very clearly and strongly rendered and the cast was supremely talented and effective, Jynaid khan was absolutely brilliant and so was Hira mani. All the charachters were very very effective, Not one went OTT. The pathos was heartrending!

With kashf, we have to understand one premise that this world is full of trials and tribulations for people that are beloved by Allah. Just like it was for her character. This world is temporary. It's "faani" basically. And that's how it was shown, her after life will be beautiful. Just as her death was portrayed. Even the scene where she sees herself die gave me goosebumps, how terrible it must be to live a life with a burden such as that. It wasn't a blessing, it was more of trial for her.

Kashf: A brilliant, emotional, heart rending finale. Junaid Khan’s last scenes literally gave me goosebumps. A mic drop performance by him. Absolutely mind blowing. 👌👏👏👏. Just one remorse. I wish the director had shown the entire family, father mother, chachi, Zoya and dadi, begging on streets and eating out of dirt. Where 30 episodes were shown with these people agonising Kashf, atleast the last 5 minutes should have been spent showing the misery of the family, for our, the viewers satisfaction and contentment. 😂
Good message at the end, “ namaz parho, dua karo”, and “ jo Allah chahta hai.... wo hota hai. “ Then what do we go to the peers for. Kudos to the entire team.👍

The Ending that 'Kashf' had was perfect executed because the premise was she being torn between dreams and her faith .
While others suffer she died peacefully
In 'sujood' Allah granted her happiness in this way. As for Wajdaan he lost senses
As punishment from Allah, for blaming Kashf for no reason and putting false accusations on her. Kashf did had 'sabr' and faith in Allah which saved her from 'shirk'.

I dont think Kashf's ending would be a tragedy you have to bring in the value of religion to properly appreciate the ending. You can see that in the ending of Kashf she takes a shower (Ghusl), she drinks Zam Zam water, and dies in Sajda, meaning that she is absolved. She got the best death that any Muslim would want. Then on top of that she is alleviated of her being internally torn. She was always uncomfortable, and now she will no longer have to do something that her heart doesn't desire. Everyone got their own punishment, her parents will have to figure out a way to make money and will probably have to beg. Zoya wanted to be a good daughter in law to Wajdan's mom, now she can do her khidmat to her now. Wajdan gave up everything he could to be with Kashf and when he divorced Kashf, he lost now even his mental health. I also think, Kashf was a test for others, Allah brought her to this world for others to be tested. To see how her greedy family would handle her gifts, how her husband would support her, how her sister would treat her. It was more of an actual example of a test that we are given in life, and how we give it qadr and respect, or how we abuse and lose it.

Everyone around her did not value her and kept taking advantage of her. She already carried a heavy burden of having dreams, and on top of that, the severe mistreatment by her so-called loved ones. Kashf and Wajdan both had reached their limit, and so this is what happens when you push someone so far. Excellent ending! 👏🏻👏🏻 I cried a lot.

NO DOUBT JUNAID KHAN WAS THE KING OF THE EPISODE!!!!!! he nailed each & every scene, zero vanity, hundred percent efficient acting. HE NAILED IT. He was a hidden gem and 'Kashf made us discover his range as an actor❤️
At the same time, even tho they showed thora thora in kashf's dreams but that wasn't enough closure for me atleast. So her dying is not a tragedy for her and is rather an escape. Whereas all those left behind would be facing the consequence of their doings.
The janaza part was metaphorical , it was meant to be two different janaza but the shots were not stitched together perfectly and hence the confusion.

I loved kashf, for once found the ending perfect, unlike most dramas where the ending is banal almost an anticlimax, here it was the last episode that really lifted the play, brilliant acting and what a delineation of a tortured life who had an unusual relation with her god but failed to resist the manipulation of family.
Junaid as Kashf's faithful ashiq was brilliant and in his insane love for Kash, it was just appropriate that he went mad. Consumed by love and deep sorrow, he went over the rails, It was compelling to watch, I loved it and and moved by the ending which was perfect

Kashf finale was mind blowing. It would have been unrealistic for wajdaan and kashf to have a happy ending. And all her dreams would be untrue. Totally agree with aamna that the premise was different in kashf. It definitely applies for this drama. Disagree with hassan.

I completely agree with what Amna said about Kashf. I am that person who does get indication of what might happen in future, but it's really difficult to handle this information. I am living a comfortable life atm, but I have been through quite an ordeal. I have also seen things about my family members that came true. I have wondered why I see these dreams as there's nothing I can do about them. I don't know if it's a blessing or otherwise.
Also as far as Kashf is concerned, death is not always a bad thing. In particular the way she died symbolised that she has left this world for a better place. Junaid has lost his mind and that's a blessing in disguise too. It wouldn't have been easy to live the trauma he has been through.
In the end, we will not completely understand the jaza and saza as that is for Allah swt to grant. We do not have the depth of understanding to comprehend His judgment.

Love the new name, very classy & it makes sense to have one name for your review episodes 👍 Regarding Kashf, Junaid Khan was at his career best 👏 I rewatched the ending a few times and strongly feel that they showed 2 funerals on purpose, it wasn't a continuity issue as Amna thought in the review. Kashf's was in a traditional box style & Wajdaan joins a completely different janaza on a charpayi. It was metaphorical & I feel it showed he couldn't be there even in Kashf's final journey. When Matiullah sees & prays for Kashf's janaza, Wajdaan isn't there either (contrary to what Amna said in the review). Shahbaz was in Kashf's janaza, but they cleverly edited scenes to make it look like Wajdaan saw him but he didn't, he just saw A janaza and joined it. Loved the tribute to Danish Nawaz's father ❤️
Prem Gali deserves more views, it is the highlight of my week!

Amna's perspective is very deep and meaningful. Couldn't have heard a better review on Kashf than that of Amna's. Such correct use of words and to the point. I really like it.
Hassan's reviews have become a sort of like he is "looking for mistakes" or maybe he doesn't want to understand the writer's perspective.
I don't think that it's so hard to understand that living such life as that of Kashf's is so disturbing. Her dreams could never have ended without her death and living with those dreams had become so painful for her not only because of the family pressure but actually seeing those dreams was so disturbing for her. Showing that she met Allah in sujood was so soothing and also showing Wajdan's love for Kashf was eternal. What else Wajdan's end could be without Kashf.
Kashf's family- They had a huge downfall. It isn't the same as before. They have shown begging, they were hand to mouth before but weren't begging. The Phuppo has a miserable married life. Zoya's life destroyed as Amna rightly said that it's a life long sentence.
But I couldn't understand that how Hassan didn't look at the bigger picture.

Wajdan going mad and Kashf's death was not something "Bad" with them.....
The people who die, don't suffer... people who left behind,suffer.....
The pain, the helplessness, the regrets were on the faces of kashf's dad and others....even Matiullah....
The emptiness.... you feel when you realise that you are no one and nothing.
    But Allah!!!!!
    I can't describe it properly......I don't have words......

I don't think Kashf's funeral had any continuity issue. I had instant understanding that Wajdan gave a hand to someone else's funeral. It was not in Wajdan's fate to see her ex wife for the last time. It's like Devdas ending that Paro couldn't even see devdas for the last time.
Well executed ending of Kashf drama.

Loved the end of Kashf! Wajdaan definitely had no ill intentions. He was a nice guy. But if you analyze closely, you’ll realize that he was also of those people who wanted Kashf to obey him. He also wanted her to do as he pleases. He, too, wanted her to follow his commands.
Remember when he tells her tum apnay khwaab baichti ho? Remember he kept emotionally blackmailing her to the point that she had no option but to listen to him? At the end, she agreed to join Mati-ullah not solely for her father but for Wajdan himself!!! He was also of the typical men who was only willing to give his wife freedom as long as she completely obeys him! He was a nice guy and loved her too, probably had no bad intentions either. But he couldn’t love her with all his might. He didn’t trust her. He was definitely not giving her the independence to make her decisions. The poor girl was under pressure not only by her parents and siblings but also her “love of life”.
Kashf died and I feel that was good riddance for her! The pure soul that she was shown, she was probably transitioned in to a better world. From my perspective, she had a beautiful end. This drama was more about spirituality. She died in sujood! She left the temporary and cruel world for a permanent and better world! Not all good people get a happy ending in this world.

Kashf's end was meant to be this way. Wajdaan could not handle the fact that she's blessed with a power to dream about future. He wanted a Kashf who would be a typical housewife running after him for happiness. He loved her so much that he would come to her aastana to see her but at the end he blamed her for everything. I loved the last episode and the way Danish Nawaz executed it. She deserved peace and for that she was blessed with a peaceful transition. Hats off to the makers and the entire cast. I want to just say what hassan sir said for the kashf drama i agree with him. What i personally feel the drama ended very abruptly. Kashf who believed so much in Allah and Allah jo karta hai wohi behtar hota hai. How can she break after her divorce. About wajdhan complete about turn in his behaviour after the wedding compare to how he was always there for her in every decision. Jo tumhe mila na tum ne ussay sambhala na samjha. Ulta apni mohabbat ko imthan main rakha. Yeh kahan ki mohabbat hai. There were also some glitches like in her earlier dreams she saw her sis and wajdhan together as kashf was sitting on her asthana. Wajdhan standing behind kashf. Another thing that was not solved was the mystery of HAJRA. Kashf on her honeymoon saw a dream a women banging her bangles and breaking them. Who was she why she saw her
