apart from the music going above your voice around 12mins in, this was great love the setups and that storage rack looks great :) cant wait to see the new angle build sub and like from me good sir!
I appreciate the sub and like! Yeah, I'm still getting the hang of editing but it'll get better with time haha. I'm new at a lot of this. I actually took that egg trap down for now, I'm going to revisit that at a later time (but I think it will work). That tank is now home to some German Blue Rams. Stay tuned for some more videos coming your way!
You know guy, that from your first video to this one, you have done research and lots of upgrades! I like watching your channel. Please, keep them coming. I like it when I learn good stuff from other people's projects. Thank you.
Thanks Roland, I really appreciate it. I never claim to be an expert because I'm constantly aware of how much there is to learn. I like to share my experiences with you guys because it helps me connect with others that enjoy this beautiful hobby. I also watch a TON of videos on TH-cam so that I'm constantly learning. I love that there's always more than one way to do things. I'll keep making videos for sure!
Really enjoyed the video, I really like watching someone who is newer to the game of breeding, I guess it’s the learning together as we go along the journey. You have two great pups there as well, seem to be very calm.
Thank you, it has been such a fascinating journey so far and yet I feel like I'm just getting started. They are pretty great, they love to lay in the cool basement and watch the fish. Do you have any dogs? I'm guessing Louie? hahaha
@@sydneysangels actually we do not have a pup anymore, we lost ours about a year ago and to be honest it really wreaked me. I told my wife that I don’t think I can go through that again so believe it or not it is what has lead me back to fish keeping. Although it’s sad I definitely can handle the loss of a fish a little better. I guess I’m just getting soft as I age, lol 🤷🏻♂️ anyway thanks for asking and I hope to see you guys putting out more videos! I messaged your husband a few weeks ago about purchasing some guppies when they are ready. I’m in the process of putting together a larger tank which will be ready In about two weeks when the water is right. Thanks for listening to me ramble and I really hope I hear from you guys when the guppies are ready! Cheers!
@@louieloudog8533 I'm so sorry for your loss. Dogs are family, so it is never easy. Yes I remember now! We're just waiting to grow our colony before we ship them out, but we will keep you updated on them!
Thanks Lonnie! I think the incredible thing about this hobby is that we are all always learning. It's one of the many things I really enjoy about fish keeping. Appreciate the support bro!
Thanks Sandy! I have some big plans for this fish room which include more grow out tanks and an automatic water change system. Thanks for the comment 🙂
Have you always used those plastic slates for the angels to lay eggs on? In my experience those tend to develop fungi very easily. Tiles have worked a lot better.
I've used PVC and slate too, and I know what you mean. If they are in the tank for too long they'll develop a slimy fungus on them but honestly it hasn't been an issue for me. The angels clean it really well before laying and my hatch rate is decent most times. But I also remove all fungused eggs the second I see them. I actually had trouble finding slate by me which is why I'm using these plastic ones. Any advice on where to find them?
got around to ordering a 6 pack of juveniles mutt guppies from you on ebay. going to put them in their own inside aquarium up here in my office to start off to make sure they are good to go, then probably introduce them into the 29 gallon along with some of my mixed/mutt guppies I'll keep over the winter for next year's tub guppy summer tub adventure. I'll post a video on my channel and let you know how things go.
Awesome! I really hope you're happy with them. I've really enjoyed seeing all the different color combinations come out of that tank. It seems like every time I look at them there's a new color and I love it. I'll subscribe to your channel so I don't miss that video!
If u cross a blue angel with a non blue u will get 0 blue fish. Blue is a recessive gene and needs 2 copies of the gene. The blue reappears if u cross the offspring ..but thars at least a year and half long project
Ah, thanks for letting me know! These black marble angels have some blue in their tails so I wonder if that's enough? It will be interesting to find out
