The choir music was my favorite part of the service.. I love listening to the Kimeru language.
After church, we visited with some relatives and took a few scenic walks.

June, July and sometimes in August kenya gets very cold...it's the winter season....and as you can see...it's still a beautiful place to be..
The limiri..family is having the days of their life..visiting with their extended family....the joy and richness of it, simply beautiful.

@@marianmcclean8050 Its really nice weather, I was actually in Kenya for six weeks in Chanda, kiambaa. It’s cold as per my family, but for me it’s was perfect weather. Came back to the US last Wednesday n it’s been triple digits of heat.

I love their Kids.They mingle un-assumingly with other kids. They take Uji with them without much "pedho". Reminds of how President Barrack Obama visited Kogelo,and was all plain with his grand-mother Sarah. For George & Mekenze,its not "Dreams from my Father". Its the Real Thing from My Father".My immediate neighbour is originally from Meru and now married in Luyialand. I will share your Vlog with her. Ooh God The Sunday school children were talked to in Kimeru. May be you consider visiting the town church, may be they speak and preach In Kiswahili or English until the children and yourself learns the language. Like the way you have accepted your hubbys culture and struggling to fit in. Am Meru and sometimes l find the culture over bearing, wish you well in this journey.
George is your typical Mt Kenya man. Minds and cares a lot about the family: wife and kids, but would not be caught engaged in some public display of affection, aka being romantic. 😂😂😂
