Stan, I'm glad you reacted to this fantastic song. I've always thought this was a terrific tune. Just to show you how much our society has gone down hill, after 9/11, Clear Channel Communications sent a memo out listing over 150 songs that should NOT be played because of, "questionable lyrics." This song, believe it or not...was one of those songs.
Funny 'cos the band had trouble from the fascist Franco regime for being too risqué back in the 60s.There is always some trying to inflict their views on other people.
To me this is 🔥🔥🔥 FIRE! I knew it was out in the 60s, not sure what yr. Checked 1966. I'm listening to music over 60 years this is the only song I remember tho I saw that had a few songs recorded. Another great song maybe that yr was EXPRESSWAY TO YR HEART by Soul Survivors, genre Philly Soul. Hope you consider reacting to that.
