This brought back all the memories of my train journey from Bangalore to Delhi in general compartment after getting rejected on day5 of SSB interview back in 2012
@@adityaadi5339 It turned out to be fine currently earning decent as software developer, met my love of life again in Bangalore in 2015 and happily married for 3 years, but that 1 train journey taught me a lot and this brought back all those memories
I hope you would find something better like it worked out for me eventually . Those 5 days are also quite life changing experience that changes your perspective . I did give 2 more SSB after that once in Bhopal and other in Allahabad next year , conferenced out both times :)
This is not just any normal TH-cam video, it is the reality of our nation. The way you have document your experience is phenomenal. Hats of to both of you sir.
Wow ! I loved your video. I recently travelled in a general compartment because I wasn't able to get a confirm ticket. But I have to agree how people from different walks of life gather together towards one common destination. Even after travelling in such a difficult circumstances and environment, there was so much positivity in there. Those people whom I met, greeted me with smile, tried to adjust for people who were standing, and there was so much human environment around me. This video made me relive those beautiful moments. I highly appreciate your video.
I recently went from Delhi to Bangalore and back in a week in the general compartment, and that was indeed a life-changing experience. It helped me realise that the Indian railways isn't running at nearly the capacity that it should be at. Seeing 57WL in Tatkal just 24 hours before the train leaves doesn't express what it means when people are left with no other option. While it's fantastic and necessary that IRCTC is investing into R&D for bullet trains and Vande Bharat express, the bulk of the people will not once see the interior or the exterior of either of those, and those people don't deserve to be left behind as India moves to the next phase of it's railways journey.
@@utubefreak7167considering we are a developing nation, it's actually nothing compared to what Europeans or the USA or even Japan takes from it's people
I travelled in general 1800 KM And it was fun seeing people from different states, interacting with them, sleeping while standing, a little laugh and a little fight Between people made my journey once in a lifetime experience... But the next day the body was full of pains... Hats of to you that u showed the reality to world
After seeing this video I feel so privileged and thankful that we don't have to travel in the general compartment. And at the same time, I feel sad for those who have to travel and live in those situations. Now, I am thinking about what can we do to improve the situation.
I just love how you made it black and white... Usually the general compartment has people who have a lots of worries in life, but still sit there surviving. I hope and pray one day they will have lives as vibrant and colorful as anyone else. May universe gift them all the happiness these hardworking souls deserve.
We used to travel around 1200 km on general compartment during our childhood my mom along with me and my sisters..by gods grace i can afford AC coach ticket for my family now and it was a long journey in life with lots of hard work to shift from general to ac coach..my mom still recalls those memories sometimes and gets emotional and says because of you son atleast now i can travel peacefully...❤
Beautifully captured and narrated. Me and my friends recently experienced 24hrs general ticket journey. It was the most horrible yet such a life enriching experience. To seeing different classes of Society in train compartments. Proud of you completing such a daring challenge.
This is one of the best documentaries i ever watched on TH-cam. I remember long back i travelled in a general compartment from coimbatore to Mangalore. We had no other option but we learnt a lot of lessons that day. Life is full of unexpected moments and we all went through it. Wonderful documentary brother. ❤❤❤❤
This video moved me to tears. Recently, I had to travel from Gaya to Banaras in a general compartment train due to unavoidable circumstances, and I can relate to every single thing documented here. Initially, we thought the train ride would be around 2 hrs, so thought we could somehow manage. However, the train was delayed, and the sight of the crowded people standing near the tracks in railway station waiting to get in was shocking. Some of them almost fell onto the tracks before the train arrived like bro😭. At that moment, I knew it was going to be a memorable and challenging experience I'll rmr fora lifetime. My parents tried to keep calm, reassuring that we could find another way if it didn't go well. Eventually, we managed to get onto the train, but getting a seat was almost impossible. After waiting for half an hour, we finally secured one seat and adjusted ourselves, the overall hygiene and cleanliness of the people in the compartment were concerning. As someone from Bangalore City, who is very conscious about cleanliness and hygiene, I felt extremely uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the train moved very slowly and made several long stops, extending the journey to freaking 6 hours. Witnessing the people's plight in the general compartment made me realize how fortunate I am to travel in economy class flights rather than the trains. When I finally got off the train, it was such a relief. Man, that day opened my eyes to a whole different world. People out there hustle so hard. Hats off to the ones who ride in general compartments, it's a tough ride undoubtedly. I learned a lesson that day, and it's gonna stick with me forever, no doubt.
So happy to see atleast one soul who's not blaming the Biharis for inconvenience and acknowledging their plight. Everyone has hard times in their life, In India right now it's for UP/Bihar, instead of supporting them, everyone just taunts them and make them feel even more embarassed than they already are.
It's amazing to see such a travel blogger who represents reality and not just the scenic view. Your content covers 360° angle of travelling without any filter. Your Hustling and passion are commendable
You brought so many memories back. I used to travel in general compartment so often while i was studying. Man i always used to stand near toilet or door because train used to be hell crowded.. until some human being gets very kind on me looking at my misery nd offer me a seat enough keep one side of my butt😂😂😂.. God.. so many people are living below poverty line yet they are so kind at times.. it’s been 10 years i hv travelled in general compartment of train.. Man watching your video brought all those memories back.. Thnk you❤
I don't comment on videos but what you have brought forward has finally made me write. The video is not just 72 hours journey summarised in 18 minutes, it is perhaps a brutal reality of marginalised people of this country who bear the brunt of the worst of the worst facilities provided by the system yet they put a smile on their faces and move on. Kudos to you to step down from your comfort and made this video for us.
True, But does the people of our country really care to take care of the available facilities at first? I'm not comparing people, But some countries like Malawi and Rwanda is poorer and Has lesser facilities than our country, but the citizen keep it clean and usuable.
@@NicolastheThird-h6msomeone spoke the facts finally !!! Actually they dont deserve those facilities coz at the end the property willget destroyed for sure
Marginalized my foot... wo jo toilet me itne sare rapper pade they jisse wo choke ho gya tha... wo bhi to inhi chutiyo ne feke they...system chahe jo facility de..uspe hag hi dena hai inlogo ne.
Please need a longer version of this Journey. Really felt like I'm watching a poetry running in front of my eyes. Every frame every emotion is soo beautiful captured and without sugar coating the reality. It reminded me of my days when I used to travel during engineering days!!! Exactly this is what needs to be improved over the bullet train which is not the need of hour. Thank you team for bringing this video in front of world!!!
This video is an cinematic masterpiece. That black and white theme is giving it a very deep vibe and the music is fabulous. You are an cinematographer .
Those emotions of a father keeping the feet aside of others to make some space for lasing his sleepy child's head, that little boy playing ludo with his mother, those little girls giving you a seat and they sit down on the ground. These little moments made this video worth watching. Thank you so much for making this. You are an inspiration for the true storytellers.

Recently I had to travel from a village to a city in the General compartment and though it was only a 1H journey it was so hard for me to stand in the heat with so many people this close to me. I can only imagine how hard this would’ve been for you guys. I respect everyone who travels in general compartments regularly. Hats off
Respect to you guys! I haven't come across such an engrossing vlog in a long time. The icing on the cake was Sanjay Mishra's lines nothing beats them. Hats off to you guys once again!
This is not just any random video. It's a documentary about all the second class compartment in India. A documentary about those people who are nameless, faceless and countless by the record of Indian railways and which are traveling in millions in daily basis. Kudos❤❤
One thing I have realised, if you just simplify it and follow your passion with full dedication success will eventually come. It’s been a while I have been watching your work. I can see how your shooting, editing, frames got better day by day but your core philosophy of making content remained the same . Honestly, I didn’t keep a track of your subscribers for while now. Today by looking at the number I got surprised, another example of good work and being true to what you are doing always pays!
This video has ✌two aspects The first half shows the difficulties faced by them but the other half shows how you find little happines in those diffculties. Really if any one ask me, what is life 🎉 then this is the video for them . Just love your work..... It gives me very valuable lessons. Thank you Raunaq Bhaiya❤❤
Amazingly captured..While its a crystal clear image of the conditions endured by Indian folks in general compartment, it's also a reminder to everyone else to appreciate what they have in their life going on and be humble about it. I've seen people cribbing for terribly silly things like didn't get a window seat or they got an upper berth, Metaphorically and even literally - Train journey equates a lot to our life and lots to learn from it.. Thats beautifully captured here.. Thanks bro !

The situation does not seem to be improving. Who is responsible? Is it corruption in the system, people who do not pay a meagre amount for tickets or the lack of awareness?
@SaileshAgrawal I don't think so you can pin point the root causes of problems like this down to 1 or 2 things. It's actually a combination of multitude of problems ranging from lack of education to corruption.
We used to be this poor when i was a child. Now we can travel in AC compartment or flight whenever we want to. But still i don't forget those days when we were poor,as it keeps me away from delusion of money and holds me to the roots. All thanks to only and only Lord Buddha and Dr.Ambedkar. Jai bhim, Namo buddhay.☸️❤️
I have travelled in general compartment with my granny since childhood. Although it was barely 250km in distance, it was 5-6 hours of hell ride when it got crowded, especially during summers. I can afford to travel in first AC today, but I will never get the same emotions and excitement that I had back in childhood.
Masterpiece hai bhai ye❤️🔥, what I liked is at 13:14 jaago word of the music came, after you stated the fact and said that ki "picchle 15 saalo mein gareebi kam hui hai ya gareeb ye aapko khud sochna hai". And it was so captivating❤️
Incredibly well made. Makes me feel very grateful for the life I'm privileged to have. Also makes me empathise with lakhs of my fellow Indians who deserve to travel in better conditions. Hope we're able to get there one day!

What do u have to say about how these people themselves make the coaches dirty? Wht will the govt do...even if they increase the no of coaches it will still be unhygienic. It's the people's fault not the authority. And the tickets these guys r paying is highly subsidized so that's a luxury itself
I can't survive 70 plus hours in an AC compartment and you survived in a general one. You really have some strongest motivation to do all this man. Keep this up😍❤️❤️
Brother, this is art! The cinematography and songs used here are SO GOOD. At, 10:28, you showed both of you sleeping (trying to sleep) and also synced it with the lyrics of the background song - such a nice detail! Awesome stuff!

72 hours shown in 19 minutes first of all not at all easy to show so many emotions in such short time making it engaging, entertaining and showing us the true reality of it without any fillers 🙌 for me this video is like a mini documentary. It gives you a realisation that how blessed I am with whatever little that I have so I should stop complaining and start appreciating my life every single day🌻
I had goosebumps in each & every frame...it reminded me of my own journey in sleeper class in Amritsar mail back in 2011from Howrah to Amritsar with only my mother...I am a sleeper/AC 3 traveller but that ride was the longest one with my mother alone across three states & the condition of sleeper class is also pretty much similar if the journey is for more than 1 night...this is the real India...
Amazing bhai!! 👏👏👏 I don't know how to describe the immense joy and happiness i m feeling after watching this. Trains are not just lifeline of India, in a way they are a smaller version of this beautiful vibrant country. अद्भुत
Beautifully represented video, felt like I am watching a documentry. Excelled in each and every aspect sir! Keep it up. I still remember I first travelled in general compartment when I was 9 (2016), all the way from rajasthan to bihar, it was an emergency (my grandfather died and we had to reach my hometown asap) and we couldnt get the reservation. We barely sat throughout the trip. A trip of around 20 hours and that day I got to how ppl actually travel. It was actually way worse than what I thought it would be. We actually travel frequently in general for short distances in Bihar, just to see the struggle of people, I think its a great step by my parents that actually makes me grounded because we know we are much privileged than majority of the people in India. Even specially abled people sell something, perform something to earn money for their livelihood, its great to see people happy having the most basic facilities and here we are, the gen z, not satisfied with anything. In the end, great work sir, appreciate it.
I was randomly recommended this video, never knew you before this but I must say it blew my mind. This is not just a video rather its an eye opener about how no matter what LIFE GOES ON. ❤
I have never seen a content like this...what a beautiful journey you both have covered..encompassing all the hardships people face in the general compartment who dont have adequate resources to afford a ticket...Hope this video goees viral..
Great Video Brother 😃 The most important lesson to be learned from the video is that the train journey depicted is related to our real life. It's a long journey, and if we want to spend it with happiness, we need a jolly and balanced partner. In this case, the guy's friend was constantly teasing him, which made him pass most of the time. In real life, this role could be fulfilled by your loved ones, especially your wife, children, or any other close person.
I can’t imagine how normal ppl and locals are facing this type of problems on a daily basis. my soul is trembling. What a wonderful vlog(video) from you brother keep it up✨🙌
General compartment is absolutely normal until you have money for AC coaches. I am speaking this as I used to travel a lot in general coaches when I was not earning but now when I am earning good, I can't even think of stepping into it.

Sir Mujhe aapki Video bhaut aachi lgti hai bhaut informative hai sari videos 🙏 Thank you #Travel & Explore with Rohit # Lalkuan to Chandigarh Travel
While it's fantastic and necessary that IRCTC is investing into R&D for bullet trains and Vande Bharat express, the bulk of the people will not once see the interior or the exterior of either of those, and those people don't deserve to be left behind as India moves to the next phase of it's railways journey.
vande bharath is one of the solutions, as the thatkal waiting list is not only for sleeper but also Ac compartments....
So you should pay a lot of taxes to help all those travel in relative luxury and comfort. Nothing comes cheap these days

One day i will also afford ac ticket for my family

Beautifully captured and narrated.
Me and my friends recently experienced 24hrs general ticket journey. It was the most horrible yet such a life enriching experience. To seeing different classes of Society in train compartments.
Proud of you completing such a daring challenge.
Most people don't book general for long journey tho

😊Iii
True, But does the people of our country really care to take care of the available facilities at first? I'm not comparing people, But some countries like Malawi and Rwanda is poorer and Has lesser facilities than our country, but the citizen keep it clean and usuable.
@@NicolastheThird-h6msomeone spoke the facts finally !!! Actually they dont deserve those facilities coz at the end the property willget destroyed for sure

This is not just any random video. It's a documentary about all the second class compartment in India. A documentary about those people who are nameless, faceless and countless by the record of Indian railways and which are traveling in millions in daily basis. Kudos❤❤

I have travelled in general compartment with my granny since childhood. Although it was barely 250km in distance, it was 5-6 hours of hell ride when it got crowded, especially during summers. I can afford to travel in first AC today, but I will never get the same emotions and excitement that I had back in childhood.
You will be able to afford 10 First AC along with 20 Business class tickets... Who knows you might get a fortune more than 3 lakhs.

Great Video Brother 😃
The most important lesson to be learned from the video is that the train journey depicted is related to our real life. It's a long journey, and if we want to spend it with happiness, we need a jolly and balanced partner. In this case, the guy's friend was constantly teasing him, which made him pass most of the time. In real life, this role could be fulfilled by your loved ones, especially your wife, children, or any other close person.
