Something similar happened to me when my son that is almost 16 told me that when he was in kindergarten, and it completely changed my life. And my 5 year old daughter is temperamental so speaking from experience, it's really nice to hear that you're doing a good job when you feel like you could be doing more or something. I never don't try, I'm always trying to be a good mother, but it's really nice to have that love coming from the kids that just kind of surprise you with their appreciation for you.
