Jules actually has her own backstory and reasons explored in her special episode. A lot of things we saw in Euphoria didn't happen or didn't happen like we saw it. (Since Rue is an unreliable narrator) But yeah, Jules is like a very sexual person who is in the middle of exploring too much, and being already burdened with a lot of other things. She should've also focused on herself rather than being in a relationship. And I really hoped these two would just talk things out for once lol. Seems like both want different things in different ways but never set up boundaries or discussed anything. Then again, they're teenagers. Plus dealing with a ton of trauma. Rules was the best part of S1 for me, their duo was just magnificent omg
they’re just missing a lot of communication. jules took the relationship seriously but she didn’t know if rue actually liked her as much as she liked rue (as stated in jules special episode) and her not being used to being attracted to girls so she didn’t kiss rue back when rue kissed her even tho she had wanted to kiss rue for weeks
just so u know they're both toxic for each other. Rue's sobriety rested on jules shoulder, no matter what, that responsibility shouldn't be place on an other person
I've never watched Euphoria just millions of edits... And I see it in almost all Rue and Jules edits. Could someone please explain to me the train scene where Jules gets on and Rue doesn't? Where were they going and why? It just always makes me wonder... Thank you and also amazing edit! The chorus with spinning camera scenes in bed ect absolutely amazing! ❤❤❤
Rue had second thoughts and she didn't want to hurt her friends and family again. She was an awful friend to Lexi, was a bad influence to Gia, she worried her mom too much, and said hurtful things to Fez.
It was Rue's idea to leave the town, maybe she get too excited about it and Jules take it seriously. Jules even packed her things. While they were walking to the train station, Rue have second thoughts about leaving the town because of her family.Sje doesn't want to leave her sister and mother because she knows that they will be worried about her. When the train arrives, Jules excitedly get inside while Rue is still confused about running away with Jules. In the end, she just let Jules go. Because maybe she realize that Jules doesn't want to leave with her, Jules just wanted to leave the town and go with the high life. Because as you can see, Jules can get out of the train and stay with Rue, but she still go.
"If I could change the way that you see yourself, You wouldn't wonder why you're here. They don't deserve you." damn that sounds like something Jules would say to Rue. Hurts deep knowing that they're over
Rue had the idea while she was sort of drunk to leave the city with Jules but at the end she wasn’t strong enough to do it ( leave her family and all that ) so Jules left the city without rue ( sorry for my bad English )
rue and jules decided to leave the town at the winter formal ( the scene where they kiss on the stairs then bike away ) but rue started having second thoughts because she didnt want to hurt her mom and her sister again. she tried to convince jules that maybe they should stay but jules just wanted to leave and so she didnt stay fo rue she just took the train and left ps: sorry if that was long it just sounded like you didnt watch it so i wanted to give you a full backstory and stuff
