When i was around 10 years old my dad drive the art director from motocross action all the way ti california because the new owners of the magazine told Dave he was the magazine an part of the reason they bought the publishing company my help him stuff his volvo in the back of a 24 u haul and then drove his friend all the way to california...so as a thank you...my dad is a photographer who loves mototcycles...he sent me all their magazines an MXA dirtrider ..cycle..skateboarder.....for a few years the first iissue i got had roger decister on the cover winning the trans am series...when i started racing i put 104 on my 1986 honda CR 250R....to rememberthat mxa cover....later in 1991 on sx tour i got to meet him several times...the man ...as my neighbor called him the king of unadilla the baddest an roughest track on earth...i never did get his autigraph working as a mechanic coach with a young pro on his last chance with our race team.. It was a thrill and an honor just to be around him in the stadium...he dont talk much an i could see like me he was in race mode...u know the look a shark has just when swims by with dinner on his mind...serious dont talk to me now...i race so im standing with my rider on the start line doing my start line shoulder stretches at the next race i saw roger doing the same thing an i just smiled...im nit sure if he still rides....but i heard he was still very fast...when he worked fir honda
Everybody saying the bike looks bad in the whoops a few times it looked great. There's a big difference between *Testing Training & Racing* We don't know what suspension products he was testing
Watching him race live in Australia before he moved to the US was awesome, he was a stand out, Michael Byrne gave him a run for his money a few times though.
this makes me feel REALLY bad for Cristain Craig going to husky next year. one of the strongest guys through the whoops and his biggest strength just got flushed down the toilet
I don't know what you're talking about he had a few good runs through both of those whoops including manual in both sets a couple times. We don't know what suspension he's testing
@@pipelinepro777 Webb had problems in the whoops even though during training he said the newer longer KTM handled the whoops better. But at the same time mookie was flying through the whoops on the Husky
Good to see them working with an old dog that knows whoops. Once they get enough data, that's going to be the bike to be on! Looked pretty good toward the end.
I race 5 kinds of motorcycles...mx an RR being my favorites...everytime i see chad ride he still looks good...im not making any predictions but he must be taking care of himself bevause his riding seems tite....
Hes just helping ktm test riding the 2023 model ktm went backwards on the 2022 chassis reed is racing the global supercross on a ktm like 4 rounds but not redbull ktm some small team cant remember prob get some free bikes for coming out testing with rodger he doesnt have time to test full time all his kids are racing now
Chad Reed was one of the best in his prime. I just don’t understand spending the money to bring him out of retirement. The competition has passed him by.

He did some testing with them when he got to ride the new bike. On an episode on The Reed's youtube channel he said he'd love to do test riding for KTM as he loves doing that sort if stuff with set up. Maybe this is more testing
KTM builds the most powerful 4-strokes out there bar none. *For the 2-stroke guys.. im glad we still have em around.. but they aren't faster around an MX track* . #KTM
Who ever said he was coming out of retirement?? I highly doubt it. He is having to much fun with his kids and is to far removed from competition on the top level. Testing yes use Chad all day long. He can give good feedback. He isn’t looking to pull a Dungey
