I looked everyday for your videos, now I understand that you have been very busy. Congratulations on your son’s wedding and please thank him for his service. My son got married on November 20th, so I have also been busy but loving every minute of it. We had a lot of family come in town and stay for Thanksgiving, it was a wonderful time. My daughter, son in law and my twin granddaughters are staying till January 6th. The girls turned 3 last July and have been keeping me busy while their parents are working. They can work here using zoom, that’s one good thing about Covid. My craft supplies are packed up so I could have room for my family to stay here. Your card is beautiful and of course I did listen to you the entire video, there is no way I would mute you. I am looking forward to your video on Friday! 😍

Hello! What a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday--with your son's wedding. Congratulations! As for the empty nest, it's a huge adjustment. I have four children and it took me years to fully adjust to having no children around, but I've finally worked my way through the "empty nest syndrome" and found myself enjoying my own pursuits. Thank you for sharing.

I just got my coneflower dies and have only die cut in white to see how they go together. I absolutely love this red with the stickles over the check, as well as your foliage! So happy your whole family got to enjoy your time together at the wedding too. Congrats the newlyweds! I also like the chattiness, which is fine by me. I have a Hallmark moving playing in the background, as I watched this.

This card is beautiful. I totally understand your adjustment to being empty nesters. My hubby and I are as well. I have gotten used to it in most ways. I am by nature a caregiver. That made me really feel lost without a purpose.

So funny you mention Denny's as we actually made it into the Denny's and the host asked how many in our party and when we said 3 he said sorry we're closed. I was all huh? Still fries make a good dinner so all is good.

Wonderful family news! Figured you were busy with family. Thanks for the update! Your cats may crave more of your attention for a few weeks. Kathy Clement has kept your name in front of us by using a couple of your digital images on her projects. Nice! Coneflower, while beautiful all by itself, doesn't work for me...too much of a traditionalist...would have used a poinsettia. I do, however, like the glitter you've added. You're right...the hexagon does add a more modern look to this card. I did purchase that lovely pinecone die set...thanks for showing us how lovely it looks on your cards! Love your decision to use that red glitter paper for the berry sprig...beautiful! While a ribbon bow wasn't right for this card, I think a thin jute twine bow would have been nice. Red and black plaids always scream "rustic" to me. I like to continue Christmas right through January 6th...if those 3 wise men could get away with it, so can! Ha! Ha!
You are correct the fur kids have been extra needy.
