Was one of the most painful experiences of my life. Napoleon deserves a HBO series on the scale of Game of Thrones Tonnes of important events completely missed or just barely touched on. The time jumps are beyond a joke. A jump from Austerlitz to Tilsit (nothing mentioned in between) and a jump from the retreat from Moscow to Napoleon's abdication (literally two years of events in between that are not touched on whatsoever) No mention of Italy, no mention of Spain, no mention of invading Prussia, no mention of Friedland, virtually no mention of his marshals, virtually nothing on Egypt, Russia was basically 10 minutes, no Leipzig, no defence of France and so much more Oh and also Napoleon charging into battle at Borodino and Waterloo.....kill me please
the one issue with the coup was the complete absence of murat. also they completely got napoleon's mother wrong, in real life she pretty much hated josepheine guts.
Hi There are plenty of new videos about Napoleon on Epic History TV like "Eylau" and the beginning of the egyptian campaign and all the Italian campaign. Thats very well done :)
it was silly having talleyrand but not having fouche, who litterally appeared in one scene in the whole movie, probably the most powerful and feared person in france during the period.
oh boy oh boy the historical inaccuracies were staggering. toulon was a bit of a joke the real battle was alot more intense and dramatic. the whole robespierre bit was ridiculously quick austerlitz was basically stupid.it was an exaggerated version one tiny part of the battle that occurred right at the end when the russians were retreating. except they had the prussians at waterloo in black instead of dark blue and grey.
Sharpe's Waterloo is more closer to the Battle of Waterloo than the Waterloo depicted in Scott's film. They actually fight for a farmhouse there. Whereas in this film they aren't there at all.
I was afraid for the first 3 months people were going to defend this just coping its good like Starfield. But I'm glad to see everyone is on the same page right from the go. It needs to be the financial failure it deserves to be.
nope napoleon certainly did charge any russian redoubts at boridino, they had numerous cavalry charges but none of them were led by napoleon on horseback.

4h i barley make it thru 90min movies and then it must be something close to heart 😂😂
Meh, is the best word to describe. What a massive disappointment.

waterloo was just a big battle and was a 100 times better than this movie.
Really awesome video I shared with my friends
You can hate the movie understandably but you can like the detail of the uniforms
