89 years . Look at these stars of the 70s like Hema, Asha Bhonsle, Vyjanthimala, Asha Parekh etc. All are still active. Amazing fitness and lifestyle. Including our Moms and Grandmoms
They dont go around crying in interviews about Depression over silly love affairs etc. Nowadays one pregnancy and then the actress comes to TED talks and talks about loads of stress. Where as ladies like our mothers had 10 times more stress but just moved with strong heart and determination.

As a radio presenter, I used to play Ashaji’s songs soooo often, they made me happy, and energized me during my shift. I also had the honour of interviewing her, here in the Caribbean decades ago. A treasured memory. So beautiful to see the young in this series of programmes, honouring with such heartfelt respect, appreciation, and love, the great artists in their older age. ❤

All comments on Asha show great respect to her worldwide. All Indians and fans are proude of her. The whole family is a blessed. One thing is to be noted that all of them especially the elder two faced the worst financial problems for which Lata sacrificed her life. In Asha's case she too had a very difficult and painfil ups and downs. Notable is both sisters ruled over the hearts of millions and earned great respect even today. Even at this age Asha is able to adjust with the changing time. That is why she is great. God bless her with a healthy future.
