- The CS:GO Blast Paris Major has had some of the biggest impacts on the sticker market in the past few months. From crashing Stockholm and Antwerp stickers by more than 50% to Paris stickers maintaining some of the highest sticker prices we have ever seen. But throughout all the chaos, will the Paris sticker capsules provide enough profit to be justified over other investments on the steam market? With more streamers and TH-camrs such as Anomaly, Ohnepixel, Sparkles and Heyzeus talking about these capsules and stickers, it is making people question if the capsules will be a smart purchase.

I think it would be good for everyone, even for Valve, if they made next Major stickers with borders but otherwise good looking.
I think if they do borderless stickers again, it's going to have long-term consequences on the market. People won't trust Valve again with their money. We will never see investor confidence like Paris ever again.
I feel Valve might try and show off CS2's lighting etc with borders in Copenhagen

People don't get that the capsules are gonna be overshadowed by cs2's first major. The stickers might not be but only if the cs2 major isn't borderless. It's a gamble
That's the issue with this investment, it's got risk involved that other majors didn't have. Valve will have the opportunity to make the most money from a sticker collection ever from CS2's first major so making them borderless would be an obvious decision.
no major until 2024 and a borderless design gives me hope that Paris capsules will at least go above sale price by the time the next major gets here.
Invest on the last CSGO major and invest on the first CS 2 Major

Investing is best when you make an educated decision without hand holding, Paris is one of those unpredictable examples we need more data on after the sale.

great video! all I gotta say is I can't even look at my inventory anymore lately without getting sick about how down everything is and I can't even craft cause the price of the paris holo's are insane and to top it off I have no access to the beta so... I REALLY can't wait for CS2 to drop.
I'm sure the market will correct itself and things will start having an upward trajectory soon. Doesn't make much sense as to why it's going down before CS2, guess people are just getting impatient before the release of the new game. I'm sure Valve will make sure the game is in good hands and release it soon.

Nice video. I often hear stories of players who quit CSGO putting skins and cases to sleep, but stickers and capsules seem to have more hidden inventory.
Absolutely, capsules are an item that people store away and forget about. Especially with something like Antwerp 2022 capsules where people have thousands lying in storage units.

Banger. For the community's maintained interest and safe investing I sure do hope the PGL 2024 Major stickers are bordered in a good looking way..more like Cologne 2016 and Boston 2018 and not Rio 2022
They definitely need to implement better bordered stickers, Rio was just such a bad way to implement them.
I want dreamhack 2014 back, those are my most favorite stickers and they are super unique

I wonder how much of an effect the lower % chance of holos will have on this majors stickers. Even though the holos now are higher than before the sale, its not only people investing but also maybe people know how much rarer they are now to open.
People undervalued Antwerp holos because some are even rarer than Stockholm. So I think people realized this mistake and are correcting it.

I got bored while reading comments... This is Antwerp 2.0 . Everyone is telling supply will be high , it will give profit in long term bla bla ... They underestimate the roi , cs2 hype and the gap between pgl and paris.
The gap between pgl and paris is somewhat its downfall. These stickers will not see the 10-20x we saw from Antwerp and Stockholm until we see what the Copenhagen stickers look like. People still have some doubt in their head as to what the next stickers will look like and if it's even worth paying for a sticker that's $100+ with the current state of sticker investing.
In which Paris stickers would you invest induvidually?
I personally have a lot of OG, Fnatic and Grayhound holos. I also have a few Sk0r holos. If I were you, I'd keep an eye on all the contender autograph stickers. The capsule listings for the contenders autograph capsule on the steam market is low and applied numbers indicate that it will be underinvested. So I'd recommend getting any contenders holo autograph stickers that you think look good.

My guess is that this major is over invested by everyone, however judging by the amount of capsules being opened from antwerp and stockholm even with the price of the capsules being so high could show even higher returns for paris. but that is a gamble.
Capsules will be over invested, but there aren't enough holo stickers being opened to go around. Inevitably they will all have to increase in price.

for me its not the problem if it gives 10 x instead of 20 x but the risk is just way lower than buying a certain sticker
Coppenhagen major foil and holo stickers will definitely gonna be a good a long term investment since it was the first major in CS2
I think if they're unique and look good they'll perform really well. This is because they won't be directly competing with SH, AW and Paris since they look different and they will be undersupplied since casual investors believes bordered stickers don't perform well as investments.
The upcoming years will show us what we are going to get, for now we can just speculate. Have a good day if anyone is reading this
CS is just going to get bigger, making it harder to invest. Right now we may be in the golden age of csgo investing whereas in 5 years from now getting a 10x returns will be impossible.

If stickers perform well then capsules should perform just as well since their ROI will increase. If you already have capsules just hold onto them.
Love your editing laughed multiple times when I should have stayed focus on the info you are providing, I also agree and disagree on this video, finding the right sticker to invest is usually hard and paris stickers are so popular that they are really really high (making the roi so good) right from the beginning where other stickers didn't used to. So or the sticker will go down and settle to a more logic price and slowly grow, or the capsules will go high pretty fast a couple months or more after the paris sale end. Anyway depending on the next sticker as you said, Paris is still one of a banger in terms of stickers and I don't see them do awful even if the futur major have incredible stickers. But afterall this is my opinion, DYOR always
Logically I'd say that the capsules should go up after the sale. CS2 should keep the holo stickers around the price they're at right now, meaning the ROI will force the capsule price to rise. Even though short-term capsules will be a good investment, long-term stickers will be more beneficial due to new players coming from CS2 wanting to make their own unique crafts. The cheaper holos are realistically the best option for an investment since new players probably won't be paying more than $5 per sticker.

It's up to you. If you're willing to hold onto them for the long run for profit then holding them should work out, but short term the Furia holo might be too static. Its price is so high right now that I don't think it'll go up for a while.
Tbh investing in this paris capsule is a safe bet it’s may not going up much since the sale period is still continuing and the supply is much higher than demand most likely but you’re going to be profitable by small percentage than initial investment.
Absolutely, you'll make profit from Paris capsules no matter what. I don't see why they should be going down in price after they're removed.

@@WiterallyCS Editing takes a lot of practice to get faster and better so just keep going. I have a folder where I have a bunch of footage, images and animations that I can use for my videos to make the process faster. Developing a good work flow will help a lot. Also I use davinci resolve.

Buy and hold capsules or open them and hold stikers
Don't open capsules, just buy whatever you want to invest on the steam market. Not worth gambling and getting unlucky.
While everyone is focused on what if with the new sticker capsules, I’ll stick to buy my 2013 cases, 2014 cases, bravo cases, ECT, with supply getting more rare by the day, I will make money off these investments
Focusing on just Paris as an investment isn't a good idea. There are so many other great investments on the market right now so I respect that you're looking at the entire market.
Euhm..? High sticker prices increases demand for opening capsules which in turn increases supply of stickers - yes, that's correct! But any increase in supply will be relatively small per capsule opened since the droprates for holos have gone from ~15% in Stockholm to ~3% in Paris. AND ALSO: when the sale is over new capsules won't be able to be generated which means that a higher demand for opening capsules will eat up the supply which inevitably will increase the capsule price.
We do expect profit from capsules, but we're still not sure how long it will take until we see a price increase due to a lot of external factors. The issue is that we're not sure how much the new CS2 hype will play into how well the investment will perform. On top of this, investor fear could get in the way towards the release of the Copenhagen stickers which could stunt price growth of both capsules and stickers. I do agree that things have changed significantly due to the drop rate of holos, but this is a totally different scenario from Stockholm and Antwerp. Overall I do agree with what you're saying, it's just that external factors play a big part in the investment.
Its first time since 2020 I'll not invest in capsules. I think it's not worth it.
I think that hype for Paris capsules/stickers will die with first CS2 Major.
The investment's not as safe as previous majors, but I still think it will succeed with certain items. The autographs are looking to be a good investment, but the capsules might be left in the dust if too many are bought.

Buy a week from now. There's too much hype around Paris due to the Fano situation that's happening. Also, waiting to buy after the sale is a risk since people could pump the stickers even more, also if CS2 goes into open beta then getting these stickers at cheaper prices will never happen.

Hard to say right now, short-term you could take a risk free sell but looking at the data applied rates are low. Normally meaning stickers are rare but a lot of them are being hoarded by investors. Many of them won't be willing to sell especially not until cs2 which will increase the price with extra demand in the market. If your looking for profit I would hold just for the fact that they seem to be rare, especially the mouz holo and its going to get more expensive as the Stockholm versions go up in price. This is more risky but the worst I could see happening is the Paris stickers just stay at a similar current price similar to today. Just a few things to consider but the option is yours I hope this helped.

Is it not worth buying capsules at all and just focusing on stickers then? Are you personally invested in any paris capsules?
I’ve got a few OG, Grayhound and Fnatic holos. I’ve also got contender autographs such as Sk0r and v$m. I’d recommend buying lower tier team holos or some contender signature stickers. Explaining why would take me a while but to keep it short contender autographs are looking to be the least invested part of Paris.

Paris investment is a gamble.
BUT I think holos are crazy inflated and its either the capsule that goes up or holos crash down after sale ends.
I personaly believe that holos will crash down in price after the sale because current demand that is keeping the price high is mostly caused by investors, not users.
After the sale 90% of investors will stop and thus the demand will decrease with stickers prices crashing.
In my opinion the savest investments are the capsules as their addictive nature will cause their stock numbers to decrease.
The best and savest moment to buy is now from the community market
I think the cheaper holos are a fine investment because if they go down by 50 cents they'll probably recover pretty quickly due to crafting demand. Other stickers such as Mouz however have a lot more to lose and are definitely less sustainable. Autograph stickers are also a decent price right now as the ROI for two of the capsules is now close to 60% which is where it should be. Autographs probably have the most room to grow in price after the sale.

these prices are not normal, especially since we are halfway through the sale and the prices of holo stickers are only increasing, I'm not going to invest 1000$ to buy only 300 cheaper holo stickers at 3$ each , the only option for me is to buy right now glitter stickers, we need valve to release a new case before they release CS2 so that the prices of holo stickers would fall.
I wouldn't recommend buying higher priced holos because they won't have any room to grow in price unlike the lower tier holos so you're right. But I'm not sure if glitters will be a good investment, maybe new CS2 players will want cheaper stickers and look to buy glitters.

Oh, thats why Paris sticker price is fomo bubbled now? Investors think it is a good investment, forgetting that this blown up prices makes it more risky to invest at all and decrease by a lot the potential to go up in price at all. Thats so funny how manipulative market has gone and fomo investors oversee the purpose of investing: to put money in things that has value.
you gotta go for the long run. We will never reach kato 2014 levels because investing just didn't exist back then, and there were a lot less players. But if you hold these capsules for 10 more years, assuming CS is still around, the profit is sure because the supply will be running out. Buy a few thousand and hold for years.
I do think that if you're in it for the long run I'd invest into Stockholm. The market forum has voted that Stockholm is the 2nd best sticker collection behind Katowice 2014. If there is any collection that will get even close to Kato prices it'd be Stockholm.
@@cstrends Yeah, I agree. I need to buy more of those soon. But it won't harm me to stock up on some Paris as well as long as they are dirt cheap. You can never predict what the market will look like in a few years, something completely random might happen that increases the demand of a specific capsule.

I think that there is a lot of nice sticker in paris capsules. However they are way to expenssive and overhyped. How capsule opening can have 100% ROI? I believe that capsules are much safer investment ATM. If we will see some decline on holos price I will buy some nice holos
Many autograph holos are at a decent price right now so I'd recommend some of those. In terms of team holos, many are way too overprice like you said. Golds are a good option compared to holos right now since a lot of them are actually cheaper than holos meaning they're not getting pumped.

Kato 19 is completely different, you had holo and foil only team capsules with papers being bought off the store. Glitters and gold team stickers weren't in the capsules. Sure maybe autographs are different but majority of people buy team capsules.

It's a very popular sticker design so it should be a good investment. The only thing that will ruin it is if Valve creates borderless stickers again which is likely.
