I kinda like it when your chill with a neighbour and then they break your 3/4 troop bonus when cards available so you just destroy them from getting 20-25 troops back to 7. Truly don’t understand the thought process behind just breaking one and not all. Had a bro today hadn’t broke any bonus and I was huge with 3 of us left he decided to steal a cap and try to break everything so instead of him getting 2nd I took him down to that single cap and other player finished him off. From 20 troops and 2 caps to dead within a turn 😂
The only thing I don't like about the sabre system is that it's too much of a participation trophy. The top 50 or so are probably accurate, but beyond that are people that are on the leaderboard simply for participating in every tournament they can. Having more time to play more tournaments is not a good measure of your skill in the game. As I said, the top 50 are probably fairly accurate since you participate fairly consistently. But that only caters to the top 0.000001 percent of players. There are people in the top 100 of the sabre system that have never won a single tournament. This is just my opinion, but performances should be averaged somehow rather than being additive.
This being said, it is still the most accurate system we have. Shout-out to all of the top players that voluntarily make this happen, doing it just to better the community. You are appreciated
It's still very new. I think as the system continues to collect more data it will trend towards being more representative. But as you said it simply can't measure a player it doesn't have data for which is why I encourage anyone who would like to claim they're good to actually compete and prove it.
Running my simulator 100k times the chance to get perfect dice on that 11v5 cap roll is around 5.1% So its not super unlikely, so it was just wildly good luck. Maybe a new dice mode, "super balanced blitz" would be an idea for the game, where all rolls are deterministic and you know how much you will lose on any given attack
@@Rickardolazioyes, it would have been a 10v 5, which doesnt change the chance of getting perfect dice. It does make winning in general more uncommon.
Player doesn’t use troops and quits Pete: at least run your troops into someone first Player runs his troops into Pete and then quits Also Pete: your a bitch *blows ten second raspberry Side note: maybe my experience is minimal, but in the few dozen games I’ve played (on mobile), mid game the app has crashed a minimum of 6-10 times and unable to reconnect upon reboot. I also prefer a long timer because it is impossible to attack as fast as you on mobile, which makes for the potential of obscenely long games with 90s and up turn timers. Because of long games or “stalemates” I typically have sue tendencies around 45 minutes. And because the attack phase is so much slower on mobile, if I play shorter turn timers in hopes of a shorter game and there is a “faster” player, I will almost certainly play for second, without a doubt if it’s a large map. Basically risk is a great game, but it has some shit qualities. The fact that you have a skill gap based off of what device you play on is just crazy for this game or any game in this genre. Something like COD I understand having limitations, but this is a board game. These are likely the main reasons i watch your videos instead of playing, I can fast forward through the boring parts of staring at a foggy map waiting for a tile to light up. Unless you have good dialogue, then I don’t fast forward. Also who wants to be potentially attached to your phone for an hour and a half, unable to do anything else.
Fully agree about the speed gap being unacceptable. I wish they would take the speed limiter off of mobile and allow players to move as fast as they can think.
You deserve that, Pete, because you did not hit the white player from the beginning. I believe that the white player is a cheating hacker. He hit 11 out of 5 for the purple castle and did not lose anything. He had 4 in both castles and the other 5, which means that he did not lose any troops. I did not see any luck either + I I want to know why, when players are hit by someone, they do not hit the person who hit them, but rather they hit the good player + I think that the white player is that he thinks you and the pink are one player, and the pink helps you evaluate this is the only explanation that makes the white hit you, but there is no convincing reason. This game is strange and those who play it Stranger + You are smart Pete, but sometimes I am surprised by your movement, but I realize that it is correct to finish the game quickly + You may see mistakes because I translate from Google❤
@@FreePete I take a screenshot of the comment and share it with Google so that it can be translated for me ()()() I put a separator so that there are no mistakes. I mean the white player is the hacker because he did not lose any troops when he hit the purple one.امل ان تكون الترجم صحيحة 🥲
Risk player:
Wait, dice are broken?
Pete:
Always has been 🔫
"Wait if they kill me then I die" - Pete
What is up Spoiler Blockers!
Ty for the content bro.
This game had solid meme good vibes. Fantastic content.
Thanks a lot bro!
No respect for the Peteman, no respect 😅
Pete's gonna make'em respect Pete ❤
Sadly the noob slammed 😭
Man I wish somebody would tally up all the spots on this map he put his capital on im curious if he’s put a capital on every territory
There have to be a few spots I've never capped still
A year later and I still say it along with Pete... What is up? RISKKKKKK Takkers!
You honour me Sir!
The sabr system is one of my favorite aspects of the risk world. It's neat that it exists. Also, including 5RR will just push Arco farther ahead😂
Arco will remain untouchable for a while. He just won the assassin's tournament
@@FreePete I saw that. He's really got quite the record

@@FreePete Hopefully the new discord linking will encourage some more people knocking around the servers to compete.
These games get into a 3 player stalemate so often now that Im just slamming the guy less deserving of a win and going on with my day
I have definitely been known to do that

The longer turn timer is the only way mobile players can keep up with pc players i hope they balance this issue ffs lol
