I'm so very glad that I bought this game when it was out in stores like a decade ago. The game is truly amazing; I'll have to dig it out of storage and use this video to try and convince my friends to play it, in spite of their hateful rants about Jar Jar.

I had a great time with this game but after many years of no longer having friends who wanted to join I ended up selling it to let someone else enjoy it. I don’t think this was mentioned in the video but all of the pieces are paintable. I saw a video float around years ago of someone who had painted some of the pieces which was pretty awesome.
This is awesome! I’ve never actually seen the game, but I’ve heard about it. I have the Star Wars: Risk, that’s essentially this game for Return of the Jedi, but this 3-D palace is off the charts! In the video Tom said he would probably never get rid of it so I wonder if he still has it now in 2020. 🤔

I wish I could get this game... HUGE Star Wars fan. I was towards the end of primary school when it came out and I've grown up with Star Wars a big part in my life in a few ways including being part of an online play by post roleplaying community for about ten years. Now I'm also growing in my board game hobby-ness I love the Star Wars LCG and this theme with a decent game will also be huge in my book.

I'd love to see more lavish, mass produced games like these that you can find in Walmart. I remember seeing Heroscape in Walmart for the first time and instantly picked up the base set. Now you really can't find anything more complex than Battleship.
Also, about Episode 1, the only reasons I ever hear from people who dislike the movie are: The Jar Jar character is either a racist parody or just too stupid and the Anakin character is annoying. I still love the rest of the movie.

I replaced one of my gungan minis with a painted one from wizards Star Wars miniatures. Since he stands out I tell people that it's jar jar. You'd be amazed how many people will put themselves in a bad position just to get a shot at jar jar.
It is a hugely entertaining game! So glad I have one in my collection!
I have seen this at thrift stores now and then for $5-10. Now I'm upset that I've never purchased it, since a lot of those places have no idea what they have.

I love component drops! Also, I never got the hatred of Jar Jar. Oh no, a goofy annoying character! Star Wars never had one of those before (note sarcasm). Course this movie had issues, but nothing like the whiny teenage Anakin later. But what stood out to me about this movie, like Tom says, were the action sequences, which was what I cared about when it came out. Nothing before matched the lightsaber use in Episode I. On the other hand, I don't own the movie... so what does that say?

Ebay,Ebay,Ebay! That's gonna be the only realistic way unless you can get lucky at thrift stores or yard sales.If you get off of Ebay,be prepared to pay easily $350-$450 for a complete copy.Don't even bother with Amazon.They might have one copy available but you'll pay even higher there if they do.

the dude is right, people hating on the prequels has nothing to do with any bandwagon, and everything to do with 1: lucas abandoned his core audience, and 2: the movie sucked ass.
tom says: "most people under 15", and the hard core SW fans that made lucas rich is 30 or older.
most people under 15 love everything michael bay does, which has zero bearing on the objective reality that he sucks ass at everything he does except special effects.

Tom, seriously... enough with this "everyone hates the Phantom Menace because it's cool" schtick. You used it here, and about 2-3 other times (top 10 list, new podcast this week, etc.) in the last few weeks, each time getting more and more condescending about it. People disliking this movie is no different than your dislike of Hawaii or Vasco de Gama. I know you're an entertainer, but this kind of thing is really rubbing me the wrong way.
Tom, many of us did not like Ep 1 or Ep 2 for legitimate reasons. You need to stop pretending that anyone who didn't is lying about it or just pretending we didn't like them.
