    My problem is when laying I make the mistake of wanting to hear for a example both. Violin and flute which of course is wrong of me .The point of color is not hearing both Violin and flute but something different combining the 2. When you which videos of symphony's you will see brass, woodwinds and strings playing at the same time yet you don't hear them all . I find with samples when you do that, things can get muddy sounding. Some say EQ one or the other ,but to me that changes the sound of the sample which could be a bad think. What do you think.? I wish someone would come up with a mixing plugin just for orchestra. A preset kind of thing then we could make changes if needed.

      I try to layer samples that have relatively similar sound signatures. If not, a little eq should help!
