It is important to understand the intention of what people say. I have many times given advice because I thought it was my responsibility as an elderly person with tens of years of life experience but have felt that it was not welcome. Leni, you ask people to just show love and they should formulate in a way that you want to hear and that people should not give you orders but at the same time you want to control how and what people write, isn't that a bit contradictory? You've opened the door to your private life and it's going to be tough at times because you can't control how people express themselves or what they think of you. You can only learn to handle feedback which Vinn seems to be very good at because he appreciates what he gets and is not entitled in the slightest. Leni, it is true that in a legal sense you are adults and you take your responsibilities but be humble about the fact that you still lack experience in life. It doesn't matter how old you are, you can always learn, be open and don't think you know everything. Leni, maybe the advice you least like is the best advice, the truth can hurt. Appreciate that people take their time to show they care about you and please, for your own sake, put down your entitled attitude. It will ruin it for you. I had thought after Leni's statement not to write but I get a bit of a mother feeling because I see what Leni's statement and attitude can lead to. I hope you will now show that you are an adult and take my comment as good advice. In Africa the opposite of Europe people appreciate good advice and there is a saying in West Africa; even if you are poor and cannot offer anything, you can always offer good advice. But here in Western Europe the children know best and they neither value nor they want to listen to the elders' advice!!

Leni, remember that when you are in public eye 👁️ don’t expect to get all positive comments. Sometimes people might tell you the truth but don’t take it as negative comments. Take constructive criticism and learn from it. These people watching you and supporting you are the ones that making things possible to where you are now , so don’t be offended when people give negative feedback, just learn from it. Don’t expect everyone to like your opinion all the time so they might give you feedback on what they feel is good for you both. Take every negative comment with a grain of salt and don’t expect positive feedback from subscribers all the time. Nothing is always positive and perfect in life so don’t expect that from anyone. Life is not always positive or perfect.
On the dog 🐕 issue, I think the subscribers who are telling you to think seriously about wether you get a dog or not , they all have have good intentions for your success and viewers are worried that you just got your apartment and you need time to make every thing homely for you both to enjoy before planning to add more financial burden on yourselves with a dog .
Get your flat fixed first , plan to travel round Kenya and shoot contents for your subscribers to enjoy so you can get more success.
Don’t hurry to get a dog that would cost you more money to spend.
You need to save money for a raining day because TH-cam may not be there for ever . And also your subscribers may come and go . So thinks properly before deciding what you need and want .
All these are advice not a criticism. All your subscribers knows you are adults that can think and decides for yourselves but your subscribers just want you to be happy and improve and be successful and gets you to one day gets to one million subscribers.

Well said, I second this motion. Life is not all rainbows kisses and butterfly meadows. You listen, you take what applies to grow and let go of rest- simple. If God was crucified, nailed , stabbed and humiliated for our sins, it is very presumptuous to think that in life you will only hear positive feedback. It is human nature and that of the platform- freedom of speech and expression and I do think the majority means very well. Lady L. Consider eorking on her growth and confidence where she learns to navigate this aspect without complaints and always feeling attacked.
Leni people are not being disrespectful nor telling you what to do if they are making suggestions. They really mean well for both of you. You should not be afraid to learn from others if you want to excel in life. People love you and want the best for both of you. One suggestion for you, Vinn and Leni. I when I wanted to get curtains, a friend advised me to take a pillow from my couch along to check color compatibility. That way you don’t have to rely on your memory. You have the actual color along. Again: a suggestion, not a criticism.

Also if the room in the shop is dark take them outside to compare colors in the natural sunlight because your new home is bright with sunshine and windows. Hi Vinn and Leni. Eastleigh can be hectic to navigate and shop, but they have such a huge variety of beautiful things, you'll get lovely carpets there too. Love the choice of curtains and sheers. A suggestion, also consider getting some small rings for the curtain rods, it'll make hooking on the curtains and opening easiervas opposed to hooking directly on the rod. For the sheers next time ask the Fundi to make a small provision at the top, so that you slide the rod through it and hang, way easier. Much love ❤❤

Being a new house, it would be really cozy having new curtains even for the bedrooms instead of second hand curtains. Take the right measurements width and length, have enough material to get cute gathers/folds when closed and open not forgeting the sheers. If you have time please go to easeleigh with the measurements for all windows in the house and they will make them same day as you wait. All the best 🥰

I probably would get a different color curtain, with that splash of grey in the pattern, not just all grey. Also you all could try to get the curtains at the store in the market you seen before.
